Ferrell gas is the most extreme worst case scenario from a customer service standpoint. It took me three months to get service from them and they offered me no opportunity to speak to management. I was told by their customer service personnel that there would be no opportunity for me to speak to anyone in management. I never write reviews, however with this being the most extreme situation I’ve ever been in, as a consumer receiving poor service, I had to voice my concern. If you have another choice for propane, please take the other choice even if it’s more expensive.

I switched companies to ferrell gas in Oct .. I still have no gas !! They came out and said the heaters were not up to code so I replaced all the heaters (5 in total) $1200. plus costs of install. (they wouldn't do it) They said my main line couldn't run under a porch ... OK I asked them to replace it ... Still has not happened .. I don't have gas still it's Jan 2025 now. I have called multiple times for help with no help or got a manager and she was incredible rude.. I had to purchase an electric range and have new wire run because I have had an gas range.(Costs $2000) They quoted me for 2 -250 gal tanks filled $850.00 .. Now I am getting bills for $1400.00 ,, I still have no gas = No Heat in my places . No line installed !! This is the worst company !! Buyer beware !!

One star is being gracious. After quoting me a certain price over the phone, then doubling it when driver got here, I tried to resolve issue and the rudest supervisor ever hangs up on me. They proceeded to add fees that I never paid before and even tried to add their fictitious hazmat fee and a tank rental. I had them come get their tank. I wouldn't recommend them if they were the ONLY Option available.

This is the worst gas company. They have canceled my order 3 times. I had a delivery date for 1/13. It snowed and they couldn't deliver so instead of rescheduling they canceled the order. I just found out cause I called. The 1st woman says I owe when I don't. The 2nd one I talk to is saying 1-7 days for delivery. Seems I go thru this every year and I've been a customer for 6 years. But looks like I'm not the only one.

Update 1/17/24 1500hrs: finally got through again about 1400 hrs, was told I was getting tank filled today. Just received a call saying their drivers sent a picture saying roads are impassable. Between those those calls I made two trips to town with no problems so that excuse has been played out. This companies incompetence and excuses know no bounds. Big company screws up, and yet again, we customers pay the price for their incompetency.Update 1/17/24: still no propane. Last I was told at end of day 1/15/24 after numerous calls to rectify this situation, I was told I was a priority and would get the tank filled yesterday. No calls, no truck, nothing. I just called this morning, yet again, was given excuse after excuse( roads are slick, blah blah. That's a lie, I was out on the roads yesterday). I will point out I have been a truck driver for over 25 years, and yes I've hauled gas in inclement weather, I know when roads are too bad to get trucks through. Now I'm being told today. Each day that passes just give your company more time to come up with more excuses as to why i dont have heat, a way to cook for my children, and a working generator if the power goes out, not to mention putting my animals, to include reptiles, lives at risk. This review is subject to change depending on if/when someone gets on the ball with things.I called on Dec. 29th to set up service, tank set, and fill. I set the date for tank set for Jan 11th, this past Thursday. I was informed it could be up to three days after tank set for a truck to come fill it. I asked if my old tank with almost 35% could be left hooked up until the day the new tank was filled since it is winter and there was the possibility of a storm or two rolling through. I was told that would not be a problem. I paid almost $700 for everything. Jan.11th gets here, my new tank shows up, I then get informed that if the old tank is left hooked up, the delivery guy would red tag the new tank and not fill it, but not to worry, the truck usually comes that same day or the next day to fill up. Ok, so now we went from no problem, to having a problem, back to no problem. Here it is, Jan 15th, I call to find out when I'll be filled since now I have been out of propane since Saturday evening(that 10ish gallons don't last long in winter), unable to use furnace, stove, and if power goes out like is known to happen in this area, my generator won't run. On top of that, I have reptiles that need regulated heat. First Lady hangs up on me. The next lady informs me the delivery will be sometime between today and Jan 25th. Unacceptable is an understatement. I was then informed that supposedly a truck came to fill the tank on Jan 3rd when the tank wasn't even going to be set until the 11th. On top of that, I never got a call on Jan 3rd regarding a delivery even though my account states to call before hand so I can make sure animals won't he a nuisance. I was told multiple managers have been notified and getting involved and I would have an answer as soon as possible. I was also told I would have some sort of answer within an hour. 4 hours later, radio silence. Now I understand things happen, but what is really boiling my blood is the multiple times I have been lied to. So now I have paid almost $700 for this empty tank sitting in my yard, on top of jumping through the hoops of getting a wood stove set up and going, and purchasing a gasoline generator for when the power goes out. I'm have the set up I have so my family doesn't have to worry, yet here I am spending almost 2 grand all because your company is dropping the ball left and right. So now my question is this, am I getting propane delivered, or am I going to drag this tank out to the road and get a refund so I can find someone reputible?I understand there are alot of customers and propane is in high demand, but I also know that a new customer with an empty tank is a higher priority than a 10 year customer who still has 20%+ in their tank.

If I could rate lower I would. They have been rude as all get out and have gave us the run around. Not only have they flat lied but they could care less about the people going without main heat because they are a terrible company.

This company is refusing service to an 80 year old. Their truck driver stated her road was unsafe, that has been deemed untrue by the county road crews. They are still refusing her service, they gave her no notice verbal or written. Lexi and Anita in the office are both incompetent and can not follow simple instructions or can not answer simple questions. The agency on aging, the clerk of courts, and the state representative's office has been contacted.Update 12/1The county and the state is now involved with this case. The bridge in question is a state bridge, the state will be out to inspect bridge. The county and state said there is no sign that they know of at that bridge. We are questioning if the driver was not on the correct road and as most employees is just as incompetent. We will get a report once the state has went out to the location.Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android
