Truly the worst utility company I have ever used. I hate this gas company, and despise that they have a monopoly in my area. I would use any other company before this one. My wife and I are considering changing our gas appliances to electric just so we can stop working with them. The customer service is beyond rude.....that's if you can even get them to answer. The service is expensive, but the only option. The online services look like the hired a 5th grader who only took an intro to web design class. Every link is broken, the site is frequently down, and putting in your payment information feels less secure than buying from Temu's even sketchier cousin.

Extremely extremely rude people. They went through the city and shut off peoples gas unknowingly, without warning, 6 HOURS BEFORE THE COLDEST DAY OF THE YEAR WHILE THEY WERE SNOWED IN.

Set up appt Monday to get gas turned on. Lady tells me they’ll be here between 12-4 Tuesday. Will call &/or text 15 minutes before they arrive. Tuesday comes around , wait til a little after 3pm. I call and a man DOUBLE VERIFIES they’ll call &/or text 15 minutes before they arrive. 4:20 rolls around , guess what! No call or text! I call , stay on hold for 35 minutes. Call drops. My fiance stops by the house on her way by to finish up our wedding stuff with our planner , the driver leaves a note stating to reschedule as nobody was home. No joke captain obvious. You didn’t call or text anyone so we’re still at work. I Call them back , immediately a fella answers the phone. Says they’ll get their driver to turn around and come turn it on. My fiance has to finish up our wedding planning for this weekend so she cannot wait… so I leave work early to meet this guy they claim is coming back. I get a call as I roll into my driveway and a fella calls me saying I have to reschedule as there “wasn’t a note stating to call or text” me. The people who scheduled… DOUBLE VERIFIED thats what you all do and I even stated it needs to be done as I WORK!! You all need to improve your communication from the front desk to the driver and/or dispatch. Its pretty pitiful. I don’t have the time to be leaving work everyday to get rescheduled and given the run around. Guess I’ll be sleeping in a hoodie again as its 40 degrees during the night rn. I’ll have to plan around YOUR schedule again as mine isn’t important enough. Not your alls problem though right?

So frustrating that I can't set my account up online. I hate calling every month to pay my bill. I have called in numerous times and noone seems to care or can help me. There is some kind of glitch in their system when trying to setup my profile. I don't have any problems with paying any other utilities online. It's a shame that noone wants to help me because I am a good customer and my bill is always paid early every month.

It is beyond reason that a natural gas monopoly in the 21st century can't provide their customers with even a reasonable internet portal to pay their bill. Then top that off with abysmal customer service and it creates a monthly issue. Disappointing to say the least.

This is the only Natural Gas provider in the area and their customer service is subpar to say the least. Here we are going into the digital age and this business does not even have a credit/debit card reader in any of their offices where you can go to pay them. They accept all other payments but card payments in office, that which really seems like a liability to have cash in the offices. They really do not notify you of bills like other utility companies with a text or email of your current bill nor do they make a courtesy call for any past due balances.
With this company being a borderline monopoly within Madison County and surrounding areas; you would think they would make things simpler for customers and offer more options to make a payment. They charge a gross amount for processing payments online or over the phone with a $3.50 fee when others charge much less. Their customer service is short and a little snippy when asking questions regarding bills or service transfers.
I personally travel for work and am not always at my residence even months at a time. When I have a bill it’s ridiculous that I am being charged this amount of money to simply use my own money to pay them. Let alone I am not notified when there is a bill at my residence when traveling away. This company needs to be more innovative before another competitor comes in and makes a better offer to citizens throughout Kentucky.

Wonderful people! Went there today to get gas turned on. They had it turned on within a couple hours. Normally have to wait a day or so. Quick response!
