Their prizes are getting to high. All of their merchandise is given to them yet they sell the items for high prices. It use to be real reasonable but you can go to Belk or other big departments stores and get their marked down items a lot cheaper than at Goodwill.

Most overpriced Goodwill I've ever been to in Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee.

I've been a dedicated supporter of Goodwill for years, deeply valuing its mission of providing affordable goods to the community. Unfortunately, recent changes have left me disheartened and concerned.Prices have skyrocketed to levels that make me question the accessibility of Goodwill for those who rely on its affordability. While I understand that costs may rise, the extent of these increases is shocking.Transparency is paramount, and it's disheartening to discover that only a small fraction of the reported proceeds actually find their way back into the community, while a significant portion ends up in the pockets of Goodwill's CEOs. It's important to conduct your own research rather than relying solely on PR claims of donating 90 cents per dollar. This glaring contrast between the stated mission and the actual allocation of resources is truly disconcerting.I implore Goodwill's leadership to reevaluate pricing strategies and to be more transparent about how resources are managed. Reinstating trust with loyal patrons like myself requires a recommitment to the organization's original mission of community service and accessibility. In the spirit of goodwill, I hope that positive changes can be implemented to restore faith in an organization I've held in high regard for so long.

One of the men that work at this location yelled at my 13 year old daughter. Then when asked by an adult what had happened for my daughter to get yelled at they wanted to pretend like they had no idea that even happened. So my daughter left In tears caused by a grown man.

The store is ALWAYS very organized and CLEAN! Far better selection and organization than larger cities. Employees are always warm and welcoming! 10 STARS!

The store was clean and aisles were nice and wide so it was easy to navigate...however it is one of those Goodwill's where they mark every little thing up. Almost every dish I saw in "glassware" was individually priced while it said on the shelf that plates/bowls were .69¢ each. Frustrating.

I used to love this store, but for the last 6 months to a year, the prices have been ridiculous. I still go in to look a books maybe find a good deal but it’s rare now. Richmond Goodwill is 100x better in terms of prices. For example I bought a double stroller at Berea gw in 2019 for $6, it was nice and clean compared to now you’d get a dirty single stroller for $30. So, if your looking for furniture your better off looking at the restore, looking for kid stuff might as well go to kid to kid because your paying the same prices.

This is probably one of the worst goodwill I've been to. They have a smaller selection than most stores. The furniture is more run down and alot of it smells like cigarette smoke.

I am a self proclaimed thrifting expert and this is one of the best goodwills I’ve ever been to. HOWEVER. I am allergic to fragrance and chemicals and unfortunately they use a plethora of both to mask undesirable smells on the clothing and other items. So if you are like me, bring a mask, take various breaks outside, and wash your clothes several times after purchase (hopefully you wash them anyway after they’ve been on a stranger’s body).

The Berea Ky location goodwill has gone down hill fast this year... this stuff is donated to you all for free which personally now ill donate to a church before i give to this "non profit"... GW does not care about its local customers just there "bottom line" so they are forced to over price things its not managements fault per say but they are being squeezed hard by GW corporate to make sure they reach a high quota every month the "owner" is only copy and pasting propaganda GW has pre given then to say for these situations to make it seem they have the greater good values in mind.. i will agree GW does help people with disabilities get a job but only just enough so Ceo Mark Curran could make 2.3 Million last year without paying taxes what a pur evil company if you ask me
