Rudest bunch I have ever seen. When you walk up no Hello can I help you, just blank stare. Then told well the meds are due today, my bad, I thought ready for pick up, meant come get it. Do better! Thank you and a hello goes a long way. Don’t even try and call. Been in line hearing the phone only to be told I didn’t try and call. Sure. Horribly rude bunch of workers. Need an overhaul. Walmart workers are kind so…..

Truly awful experience. I had surgery and a stent ripped out of me. My doctor sent over pain medicine to be picked up and they refused to fill it. They said they needed to contact my doctor but they did everything but try to contact my doctor. My doctor even called them, they just sat there and let the phone ring. If a valid prescription comes through from a surgeon….FILL IT! Don’t let me suffer!

Honestly more shocked than anything at the pure incompetence of the pharmacy. Needed a simple antibiotic prescription and was told 2 times in the same day that “the pharmacist has stepped out”. Causing me to have to either come back later or wait. Not only that but they don’t seem to understand how to process insurance at the desk. If you are going to use this pharmacy expect at least 30 minutes to an hour of waiting. The retail and front desk staff are always great and friendly though. The only problem with this place is the pharmacy if you can even call it that. A more appropriate term would be paid adult daycare. SWITCH TO KNIGHTS PHARMACY

Berea Walgreens Pharmacy has drastically improved over the last few months. The pharmacy is fully staffed and functioning.

Today I started a call to the pharmacy on my way from Danville to Berea was on hold for a hour and finally drove to Walgreens, just to have them answer my call when I was in store when they heard the answering machine on my phone speaker .Nobody outside in drive through line and one person in front of me in line , one staff member at window assisting a customer . Plenty on staff in pharmacy . It’s disappointing to know that I have being a customer at Walgreens since the day the opened their doors in Berea . Probably not the staffs fault, but this has being foreseeable problem that needs to be addressed, because everybody in Berea has this problems of waiting long periods of time at Walgreens, Berea .

The worst pharmacy. Always understaffed, most of the staff is nice. The wait in the drive thru is at minimum 30+ minutes every time . If you try and call, you will be on hold forever., that’s if they answer at all. If you go inside to pick up medicine you will wait forever. They take forever to refill medications (2 days, unless you can get through on the phone to expedite it). I changed pharmacies and they did not send all of my families prescriptions to the new one. Do NOT recommend.

The freezers were out of order for months anf the pharmacy lines inside and drivethru are rediculously slow. Why? It the same worker running both stations while the.other four workers try not to make eye contact. They closed for lunch while i was in the drivethru.

I pulled all our prescriptions from Walgreens. Their people are all nice--overworked and harried--but very nice. It's the computer system that makes this pharmacy a nightmare to deal with. Everything from missing prescriptions, an auto-refill system that only works part of the time, endless errors, oversights, and communication with doctors/insurance providers that simply get lost in the computer. Service is necessarily slow since the techs spend most of their time wrestling with the darned computer! Today was the straw that broke the camel's back--a computer glitch that happend while I was there to pick up a filled prescription made it impossible for them to actually let me have it. I wouldn't believe it if it hadn't happened to me. Oh, they'll have it cleared up sometime tomorrow--but my patience has run out completely. Avoid this pharmacy.

Drive thru takes too long if peoples medication ain't ready then they need too pull around or something it shouldn't take 20 mins for 1 car too get there stuff it takes me maybe 5 mins once I'm at the window but I call and make sure my stuff is ready most people don't have an hour to sit and wait for 3 cars too go through the window then take 5 minutes once you get there maybe y'all should put a sign up that says if your medication isn't ready then don't hold up the drive thru what is going on here

I really, really, DON'T appreciate having to listen to five minutes of a recording before I can even start the process of getting through to the pharmacy. I had a time sensitive issue with a medication that I need to take on time every day. I wound up having to wait untill the next day to get it. The only reason I used it this time was because my regular pharmacy was out of that particular medication, and I do not plan on using this pharmacy again unless I have to. With my regular pharmacy, I dial the number and a human picks up every time. No waiting, no going through all the options and extensions.

Made me wait 30 minutes because they lost my medication. Made me come back the next morning. Wouldn't fill all the prescriptions. Very robotic and unapologetic. I'll be looking into changing pharmacies. Unprofessional, unorganized and not an ounce of courtesy. Do not recommend. Also they're a giant corporation that doesn't care about the inconveniences they've caused, and there's no repercussions or any reason for them to act any way other than this manner. What a waste of time.

The pharmacist at this location...she is amazing. I know obviously she is always slammed but she will go above and beyond to help me with insurance obstacle or on occasion if my Dr has sent over the wrong prescription which they have done. But I just want to say thank you very much for all your hard work for me. Most pharmacies will tell you to deal with this issues on your own then get back with them. I would most def give more than 5 stars. Thanks again!

I have never been to a more unprofessional and highly disorganized pharmacy it is amazing to me that Walgreens allows this. On several occasions I have had to wait an hour plus in the drive-through window. With no rhyme or reason. Sometimes there would be two cars in front of me, sometimes 8. On one occasion I had my window cracked and could tell that the person in front of me was having a very personal and highly unprofessional conversation, and when I got to the window the lady there was very rude to me, almost like she was annoyed that there conversation was cut short because I was in line. On that same occasion my Covid test was lost and I had to retest at another facility. They are also very inconsistent in following policy being shrugged off when showing identification and then being scolded when not having it ready, at times never being asked for identification at all and later being turned down services for forgetting or not having ID present. This is extremely frustrating considering the field I work in, some of the clients I deal with do not have IDs or do not have updated identification. Other pharmacy in the area are accommodating but it is very hit or miss here. I wish I could say that there are a few good people working in this pharmacy because I know that has to be true, but so far I have dealt with some of the most angry and bitter people I have ever had to deal with, AND I KNOW that they are overworked and underpaid, I work in the same field and we are all feeling the pressure but when I am trying to be OVERLY nice and get spit on over and over again at this establishment it is hard not to fell like that it is not an individual problem but a problem with the whole pharmacy. Be it work culture or bad management this pharmacy is absolutely terrible and I will never use it again. If you have to go to a Walgreens than let me recommend the one in Richmond just 15 minutes north on the same road. It is insane how much kinder, professional, and consistent they are.
