ALDI in Bowling Green offers a wide range of quality groceries and home goods at low prices. Customers appreciate the store for its affordable prices on everyday items, often saving around $20 a week compared to other stores. The store features fresh produce, meat, seafood, baked goods, frozen treats, and imported products like Bavarian sausage, German brats, cheese, prosciutto, lamb chops, and wines. Many shoppers find the store's own brand products to be excellent and reliable, with some gourmet options available. Weekly specials, called "Aldi Finds," are popular but tend to sell out quickly, so early shopping on Wednesdays is recommended. Parking is convenient, and the store is generally not crowded, allowing for quick checkouts by real cashiers. Customers also enjoy the variety of items not commonly found elsewhere and the ability to order online for curbside pickup or delivery. However, some reviews mention occasional issues with produce and meat quality, with a few incidents of spoiled items, though refunds are usually provided. A few shoppers have noted negative experiences related to store atmosphere and interactions with certain groups of people, which have led some to limit their visits. Despite these concerns, ALDI remains a favored destination for affordable, quality groceries with a good shopping experience and friendly staff in most locations.
Cheap and easy to navigate but look carefully at the fruit and veg before buying as they are poor quality and go off quickly. I no longer buy fruit or veg from Aldi because of this.
