I reserved a book online and had it shipped
to the store for pickup. When I arrived at
the Bowling Green location, the clerk I
interacted with was already in a mood that
could sour milk. I calmly explained that I'd
placed an order online and had it sent to
this store for pickup. Instead of helping, he
turned it into a debate club.
Despite having my confirmation number
ready, he refused to look it up and insisted
I needed to go to another store on 31W. I
didn't ask for a geography lesson-1 just
wanted the book I'd ordered. The entire
time, he seemed overwhelmed, radiating
stress and frustration, but 1 kept my cool.
When I finally decided to leave, he called
after me, "Do you even want to know
where the store on 31W is?" I replied, "No,
because this is the store I'm supposed to
pick it up from." He doubled down, "No, I
mean, do you want to know where 31W is?"
simply said, "Thanks, but I've got GPS. I
don't need your 'help.
The older cashier seemed visibly stressed
and overwhelmed, even with only four
customers in the store and two cashiers
on duty. It took 15 minutes to get
assistance, which makes me worry about
his well-being. The way he was acting-
so tense and under pressure-makes me
concerned that this level of stress could
seriously impact his health, potentially even
leading to something as severe as a heart
attack. He might benefit from additional
support, training, or even reconsidering
whether this role is the best fit for him. A
little compassion and proactive care could
make a big difference for him and the
team

Awesome experience getting a new battery for my daughter’s van. Eli made purchasing and installing the battery quick and got us back on the road in a very timely manner. Fred stepped in with his installation expertise. Thank you both for the great customer service.

Huge, huge shout out to Luis and Elijah! I arrived at AutoZone with a dead battery. I felt bad coming in right around closing but I was really in a bind and needed help. I apologized for the hour and Elijah responded “Hey, no problem - we’re open until we’re closed!” Luis replaced the battery and did a great job even though the cable was difficult to work with and needs replacing. I really appreciated the good service on my car and their willingness to help so close to the end of their day. These guys went the extra mile!

My engine light came on while driving from Chicago to Georgia. The staff was extremely helpful, ran a diagnostic and told me what the problem was. The whole process took about 20 minutes. Very efficient !!
