Upon entering the auto zone store the clerk was on the phone helping a customer. I found the item I wanted to purchase and approached the counter. I waited and waited and waited while he continued to talk on the phone and totally ignore me. I put the item back on the shelf and walked out..

Just trying to turn in a core and pick up a couple things, got hassled over my receipt, then had to wait for someone to come check me out and the guy acted like it was just killing him to come do his job. Never have liked this store but sometimes you have to get the part if nobody else has it

They checked my battery and told me it was good and my alternator was bad. I left a friend's battery there to get charged. My car obviously needed to be jumped so they offered their jump box. After 30 minutes of trying to get my car started with their box I was beyond disappointed. Thank the stars above I saw a friend who gave me a jump and my car started right up. The next day I picked the friends battery up and they told me it was fully charged and a good battery. Turns out the friend's battery they charged up was completely dead and no good at all . I then decided to get a second opinion on mine. Come to find out MY battery was bad and my alternator was fine. I will definitely not "get in the zone" at this auto place!!!

Called and asked about price matching. Man on the phone stated “we cannot price match online only retailers, they must be brick and mortar.” Fine. Called back and asked about price matching Walmart. He says “no, they have an online site.” SIR. AUTO ZONE has an online site. Needless to say, they will only price match O’Reilly, Advanced, etc. and NOT online prices. FYI. I went ahead and ordered the same part for $75 less and it will be here tomorrow.

I had what I thought might be a dead battery. Carried it into this Autozone when Tony, who was stocking shelves halfway down an aisle, looked up and moved to greet me. He heard me, told me he needed an hour to confirm what we needed to do. Polite. Efficient. On point. Great experience. I left for my meetings and returned later. Toby was gone. The other guy was polite, efficient and on point. Told me my battery took a charge asked about my home charger. He told me my was too dead to resurrect with my home charger. These guys charged my battery, which saved me about $180 and didn't charge me an penny to do it. And this is why I keep passing O'Reilly on 31W on my way to AutoZone. You see, I stopped at O'Reilly first. The two young guys at the counter were on their smartphones. One turned away. The other one I had to call. He looked irritated and came over. His DILLIGAF facial expression said it all. He smirked at me. I stopped him cold and I apologized for being a bother. And I left.

Our transmission was acting strange during our road trip from Indiana to Florida. Someone suggested we go to Autozone and get transmission fluid. We felt so lucky to be greeted with a warm smile from Tony, the store’s manager. He stopped what he was doing to help us figure out exactly what kind of fluid we needed. He helped us locate the transmission fluid compartment in our car. We are back on the road feeling confident thanks to Tony. What a kind and decent man!

Tony is a life saver! He took the time to help me out a when my car started acting up as I was passing through Bowling Green, talked me through everything, and helped get my car up and running to get home safely. He was also kind enough to replace my windshield wipers! I can’t express how appreciative I am of him and his store.
