Had no rentals going one way. After I made an online reservation. My personal vehicle was being worked on, and I had to get back to my job. The people in the office were great, but the people at the 1-800 number who made the reservation did not know they had no vehicles. That's why a 3 rating.

Be careful of this location. They will put an inner city fee on your automobile misleading you from what they tell you online. The district manager allows this location to do anything he wants to do.

Rented a car to drive to my father in laws funeral, first I do everything online and no where did I see that you had to have a 200 dollar deposit which was frustrating but wasn’t a big deal. I pay for the rental and I’m very up to date with my finances as I keep tabs hourly and daily the total was 505.00 with deposit, when I turn vehicle in it was just as clean as when I rented so I keep an eye on my finances I see where they had broken down the payment they put all together pending well after a day or so they broke it down 304.73 and 126.00 so here’s problem they charged, took or did something incorrect cause the deposit was 200.00 but I only got 126.00 back I’ve had issues with this hertz before will never use again will contact the BBB on Monday to report they don’t take CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS which are used everywhere like a major credit card terrible business terrible ethics just all around bad company as I’ve read reviews I will tell everyone not to rent from them and will def spread the word they are horrible.

A big shoutout to the group of people who work at Hertz in Scottsville, especially Jayla. After trying to get a rental from Enterprise for 3 hours I gave up and called Hertz. Within 30 minutes they delivered a car to me 20 miles away. Fast, courteous and efficient! It was a wonderful show of true customer service. Thank you.

I received great friendly service at this location where I picked up . I had reserved the “managers special” at the same price as the entry level cars , I was given a Tesla .First time driving an ev , I rather enjoyed it.Wish I had the same service at my return location.

Watch your receipts, they WILL scam you. I filled my tank at the gas station NEXT DOOR before returning. They charged me for gas at $9.99/gallon even though it was full at time of return.

Made a reservation online using my card then was told I needed a major credit card when I arrived at the store to pick up. Tried calling to go ahead and cancel the order after finding another company that would take my card and the phone system asks if you wanna cancel then only offers 3 options none being cancel reservation so I chose speak to a human. The store was open but the phone system said they was closed so I could not cancel my reservation. I see now why enterprise had no cars available and hertz had a full lot.

Can’t say enough about the customer service that I received. They answered the phone when I called, stayed in contact throughout my rental and was so kind as I endured long delays getting my car fixed, a very sick child at home and my stress level was over the top. They actually cared and I will forever be grateful. They definitely should be compensated well because they give Hertz a good name and reputation in Bowling Green. A company is only as good as the employees and the experience and these days that’s hard to find. Thank you again for going above and beyond. May you all have a blessed New Year!

Do not rent a car from them. I had a reservation for a rental today 12/17/22. The woman working asked for a credit card I gave her my bank debit/credit card. She says I need a major credit card. I rented a car the previous weekend with no issue using the same card. The girl on duty tan a credit check & everything was fine. This woman today is talking over me, getting loud says she can’t take my card b/c it’s not a major credit card. I told her the girl last week had no problem & she says I’m not going to do it. I tell her to give me my money back & she says you will have to come back Monday. I called the # & didn’t get anywhere b/c apparently they are closed on weekends. This place has a bad reputation in town. The other car rental places near know how bad this location is and fix their messes. Do not give them your money or time it’s not worth the headache

They do not tell you that you can insure the vehicle you rent through your own insurance if you have full coverage in the state of Kentucky and then you pay for it out of your own pocket.

I booked a rental online through my employer's discount website, while the rental is under my name, I wasn't going to be the driver and I put the driver's info in where required. I get to the office and they tell me that I can't book a rental for someone else with the discount, even though I've done this numerous times with several car companies, including this very same Hertz in the past. The office staff could only tell me "things have changed."Additionally, they require a major credit card for a deposit, will not allow debit cards, something to keep in mind if you want to book there.I left, went down the street to Avis and booked the exact same reservation for another driver with no hassles, I was in and out within 5 minutes.Hertz was absolutely not worth the -$5 price difference.

Reserved online. Took an Uber to location to pickup car. When I arrived I was told they have no cars to give me. They blamed their "corporate overlords" for their policy to allow reservations when they have no cars to rent. Had to uber to a different rental car business that had integrity. Money lost for me.Fast forward 5 days later, they charged me for a "No show" fee of $89.44. It took 2 days and about 90 minutes through their BS phone system to get refunded...TLDR They have no idea what a reservation means and make sure you watch your money the weeks following.

I needed a car for a business trip. I reserved online and had no issues when I went to pick it up. Seth was very friendly and answered any question I had. Dropping off was just as simple and I had no issues at all. Their prices were so much cheaper than enterprise and the staff was far more friendlier as well. I will be using Hertz from now on.
