I hardly ever leave reviews anywhere, but Megan at self checkout is incredibly RUDE. The store was insanely busy today, and theres a different self scanner in the self checkout lane on the other side. It had a sign on it (that not everyone can see) so this lady in a different line asked her if it was open and Megan went OFF. She was like “I mean really do you not see that there’s no light and a sign?” To which the lady replied “oh sorry I didn’t see the sign” and she said “I mean come on there’s no light on, do you think I’m actually gonna just leave it closed and not let someone use it? Obviously it’s off for a reason.” And then she proceeded to look at her coworker talking about how people are so stupid bc obviously she’s not just gonna leave the light off just because. I looked at her name tag and went up to the couple and was like “here’s her name just in case.” The guy came up to me while checking out and pointed out the manager to me in case I also wanted to tell her, but when I walked by her she was insanely busy so I left it and hope that the couple will at least say something (if the gentleman sees this, sorry I didn’t stop her I just felt bad with her being so busy). It just rubbed me the wrong way bc idc how busy the store is. You work in customer service & there’s absolutely no reason to yell and embarrass someone for asking a simple question. I hope management sees this and fires Megan. Don’t work in customer service if you can’t be kind and helpful. I’ve worked in plenty of customer service positions, it’s not for everybody but it costs $0 to be kind. And Megan, I hope you have the day you deserve.

Nice store. Too bad they have a super rude lady working at self checkout. One day she will get an attitude with the wrong customer and get that attitude checked!!

Their customer service is Horrible and it's not because I did get what I was going for it's because the Representative Gaby has horrible customer service and an attitude. She aims to make the customers feel like their is something wrong for asking her a question.

I called the bakery department with a simple question, and it was answered immediately. She even went to look and see if the product I ask for was available. That! My friends is customer service. 👍

It's always clean, presentable with respectful workers. I have been to most of the Krogers in town with no luck finding the item I sought, but Rusty, don't know his position, listened, and helped me where others did not. Give the man a raise

This is the worst Kroger in BG! The produce is always moldy. They are always out of everything. I wish Boost gave the option to pick which Kroger to get your order from!

I would never recommend their pick up Clicklist. Kroger pick-up on Scottsville Rd. has a young male employee (slim, in his 20s, caucasian, about 5'5" to 5'7", short straight hair swooped on one side) treated me rudely. He told me about 2 items that were not available and shared the substitution. I approved one and disapproved the other item. As he came inside to get my groceries, I decided to walk in and try to find the item myself; I found it. When I told him I found it, he said, "Okay," and dismissed me. He was still putting another shopper's groceries in the truck so I thought it was understandable. When he came back out with my groceries, he asked me something that I thought was their regular question, "Do you want everything in the back or in the trunk?" I responded, "Yes, everything in the trunk is fine." He responded with a negative attitude and said, "I SAID, do you want any delicate items up front?" I had to pause for a second as I was taken aback by his attitude (first offense). I finally responded, "I'll take the eggs up front." When he handed me the eggs, I said thank you. Then, I calmly asked him why is it that I found it but was marked unavailable, he cut me off (2nd offense) and said, "Sometimes the shopper cannot find the item or the delivery was made after they tried looking for it, I don't know." (3rd offense, dismissive) I let him explain all this, then, I still patiently said, "Oh, okay. It is just inconvenient and defeats the purpose of doing a clicklist when you still have to go in and find that it's actually there, you know? Is there a..." and in the middle of me saying this, he cut me off (4th offense) and said, "I don't know what to tell you and started to walk away. When I asked why he was being rude and walking away in the middle of my sentence, he cut me off again (5h offense) and said "I had to close your trunk!"
I finally said, "Look, I’m not complaining, I was merely making a note." Then, his exact response to this was to cut me off (for the third time, 6th offense) to say these exact words, “There’s no note to make! It’s either we can’t find it or it’s not available!” You could imagine that at this point, any customer would be livid. I managed to say, however, "There is no need to be rude nor here no need to or confrontational. I’m saying things nicely..." but was already walking away heading back to the store {7th offense}. I took a deep breath, rolled my window up, and drove away.
I called the clicklist number stored on my phone to hopefully talk to a manager. It rang several times and someone answered, "Is this Ms. Absher again?" with a condescending tone (8th offense). I finally said, "Oh no, I am not talking to you again. You have already been rude to me." I hung up and kept driving home. I was seeing red at this point.
I have never encountered such a rude and disrespectful employee. I respect others just how I want to be treated and I extend a lot of grace towards others as I never know what they are going through. However, not only did he not listen nor validate the concern of a paying customer, but he was also argumentative, disrespectful, and very rude. I am not comfortable with the fact that he knows my name and possibly has access to some of my information. I deleted my Kroger app and started to shop at other places after Friday night. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere.
Now, Kroger has several good employees who have helped me numerous times with my shopping experience and they were very professional. I know this because I have been a loyal Kroger shopper for almost ten years. However, this one awful experience has done it for me. It was highly unacceptable. No one should treat others like that

I always enjoy shopping at a Kroger. None close to where I now live. This store was well stocked with friendly employees. No problems.
