Price Less IGA is a grocery store that offers a new way to shop and save. It operates as a cost-plus store, where products are priced at the cost to bring them to the shelf, with a flat 10% added at checkout. This pricing method helps keep prices consistently low across all departments. The store features fresh meats that are hand-cut and ground daily by in-house butchers, as well as farm-fresh produce and a wide selection of top-quality name brand and private label products. Some locations also have an in-house bakery and deli. Customers appreciate the helpful staff and the store’s clean environment, although some find the inside a bit dreary. The meat department often has special deals, and the new self-checkout is well serviced. While the 10% surcharge at checkout is sometimes seen as a downside, many find the overall prices to be competitive and worth the visit for good deals.
Clean store. Friendly cashiers. Prices are higher than Aldi which is the first place I shop but they do have a larger variety of produce. Which is what I went in to purchase.
