Due to the complexity of our tax return this year we regretfully found it necessary to find another CPA firm who had the expertise to deal with the issues we faced. Thankfully, we chose Shelton CPA's. Our apprehension about changing firms quickly turned to complete confidence that we had made the right choice. Their knowledge of taxes is top notch, the icing on the cake is they care about you as a person and treat you with the utmost respect. I am in no way dissing my previous CPA firm but I can say, without any doubt whatsoever, you will never regret choosing Shelton CPA's.

To be quoted 5k for basic tax returns with some amendment returns is ridiculous to even hear. And telling someone you are to busy for their business is also not very kind or friendly in my opinion. You can always make time if you want the business.
