I've been to my fair share of Dollar Generals, and this one is a unicorn, almost. The staff are so nice I feel like I'm getting a hug with every purchase, and that's a rare find in the retail wilderness. They're genuinely helpful and seem to have a sixth sense for when you've given up on finding that one specific brand of spaghetti sauce. However, the store itself looks like a game of Jenga played by a toddler. The aisles are a labyrinth of misplaced merchandise, and navigating them is a legitimate cardio workout. My biggest complaint? The lack of self-checkout. It’s like they’re holding us all hostage in a quaint, small-town conversation. I appreciate the human interaction, but sometimes I just want to grab my paper towels and escape without having to explain to a cashier that no, I don't need a bonus bag of Twizzlers today. It’s a great store, but the lack of self-checkout feels like a personal slight.

Five stars for all the nice ladies working there but the young man that works evenings, he can't count money, can't move and talk. Takes 5 mins or more to check out 5 items. Absolutely ridiculous! No one has time for trying to poor Molases on a winter day...
