The one star is for service department. Lady acts like your lying about electric going out. If they come out, and it's not on their end you will be charged. How can it be on my end when neighbors went out too.

They dont know how to read meters and if you have high electric bill it's always customer is wrong the have all these fees in their bill I think we all need to stand up voice our opinions they want to charge for every thing and do nothing 2 fans and a refrigerator on is 80 dollars a month what a joke ripping people out of their hard earned money good job meade county recc

Absolutely horrible company. Long outages, customer representatives hardly know a thing, almost no resources for families that struggle, and don’t want to do the work. Have to beg to have them retrieve the limbs they trimmed, guessing they expect a disabled widow and previously paralyzed woman to drag them somewhere. Thanks for absolutely nothing you heartless, money hungry corporation. NEVER have seen something so disgusting.

Not impressed at all. Been multiple very frustrating situations with RECC. We’ve explained situations countless times (getting paid a day after bill is due, etc.,) just for them to tell us on the phone it’s okay and have a worker come out same day to turn us off. This has happened MULTIPLE times. We just moved into this house and already considering moving again just to get away from this company. They do not care about people outside of the money they pay (which is usually extremely high) to keep their electric on. The office staff is very friendly, but the inner working of this company are so low that they couldn’t care less about anything else going on in the world except just to get their money. Really won’t move into another home that has this company.

Out in my area we keep having power surges about midday and late evening without popping anything on our fusebox. Just shuts off for a few seconds and back on. I've reported it but nothing has been done or discussed with me about it

As electric companies go, Meade County RECC is very good to deal with. Any time there is a problem they are very quick to fix it. The prices are much lower than compared to Jefferson and Bullitt counties.

I only had positive interactions with Meade County RECC employees. Always friendly, professional, and helpful. Additionally, we had a dangerous dead three by the wires. I called them and asked if they could help me. They took down the tree without any issues and did not leave a single mark on the ground. Thank you!
