The stars are for Bella who is beautiful and sweet. My daughter still talks about the horse. Paid for lessons for my daughter recently & never heard back and I believe I still had some from awhile ago too.

Visited with our Girl Scouts and we had a great time. The owners were accommodating, friendly, and patient with the girls. They taught all aspects of horse care and gave them a great introductory lesson and ride.

Donna and the team at Lookout Hills hosted our daughters 4th birthday party - and it was great. Our daughter and her friends loved it - the kids got to help get the horses ready to ride (brush and put blanket and saddle on), then got to ride, then feed lots and lots of apples and carrots (we brought the horse treats :). ). Donna was super easy to work with and provided helmets, horses, tables, chairs, and even helped us make hot cocoa when I ran out of hands. Would 100% recommend for hosting a kiddo who loves horses birthday!

So I just took my 8 year old here for her first lesson and her three year old sister came with us as well. I was extremely IMPRESSED. Miss Donna and her husband were very nice and welcoming! They are all about safety and respect (very important to me as a parent clearly). Her lessons are perfect for teaching responsibility and accountability. Love that she teaches them everything from tacking, leading, riding alone, cleaning up after themselves and their horse, learning how to balance and above all SAFETY! And to top it all off she even let my 3 year old ride a couple of laps on the horse (which she didnt have to do). Will always and forever be back! Thank you guys you were awesome!!!!!

The Brays are great to work with. They care about the animals and the young riders that they are training.

If you're a trail rider this is not the place for you. Although I was told there are trails to ride, they aren't cleared and the property the trails are on does not belong to the barn owners, and is up for sale. The outdoor arena is too small to ride in. The owner gives a lot of lessons to children, and in the summer the indoor arena is usually occupied by the students for summer camp, so riding when you want to is out of the question. The paying boarders are put on the back burner, when they should come first, since the indoor arena is the only place to ride. In addition, while I was out of state for a conference, my 23 year old gelding either colicked, or suffered from the heat, I still don't know which, but he was lying down and wouldn't get up. The owner did not contact my vet, or my husband, nor did she even take his temperature. She gave him an anti-inflammatory medication. She had two other boarders walk him for two hours in the indoor arena. When my husband got there the next day, she casually said my gelding had "a bit of a problem with the heat", and that's all she told him. It was the boarders who told me about the fact my horse was sick. I was already planning to move my horses elsewhere, because of the lack of trails before this incident. Once I found out about my gelding, I was more than thrilled to have left. In addition, the barn owner is extremely rude to people, especially the children. I do not recommend this place as a boarding stable at all.
