Food Giant is a nice little store in the heart of Calvert City. It is very clean and always stocked with a good variety of supplies. The staff is great, friendly, super friendly, helpful, and extremely nice. Some prices can be a little high, but the sales help things even out. The deli is awesome and always good, with excellent items like addictive pulled pork, large chicken pot pies, excellent chicken strips, and homemade potato wedges to die for. The fried pork chop Monday is a favorite. It is a great way to keep the family fed.
Was a pleasant visit. A good selection of basics and such. Caught the deli at end of the day so selection wasn't the best but what I did purchase was great.
