Such a great experience! Loved the views and the snow made it even more beautiful! Great and friendly staff even helped us get onto the main highway when the snow kept piling on the morning of our departure. Will definitely return! Such a cute and quaint lodge! :)

We considered Cliffview Lodge for our wedding weekend. While we opted for a location in our home state, the choice was very difficult. The location, lodging options, and of course the views make this a great choice for a wedding at anytime of year. The cost is very reasonable especially with all you get! Also, the responsiveness to email communication from site manager, Meredith, was quick and helpful.

15 of us were on a writing retreat with a guest speaker. Beautiful and spacious, however, we found the space to have some limitations we will consider in the future. The hot tubs should be called lukewarm tubs because they were tepid at best. The futons in the rooms were uncomfortable and small. And some places were dirty (in the window by the back deck we found dozens of flies.) No way someone cleaned and missed that. There is no water source outside of sinks. Huge beautiful refrigerators without water source. I’d caution folks to being their own jugs of drinking water for their stay. Great having a washer and dryer downstairs. The staff is nice but there were some things they could do to better prepare folks. Their phone number on one of their printed directions papers is incorrect. They provided us with a key code that did not work. All of the rooms lock when they are closed so you will need a key code even to get into your individual room. The oven takes a long time to heat up. Be sure to allow for extra prep time just to get the stove hot. There was a lot of emphasis on staying quiet or police would be called in the literature, and we learned why. If you sit in the hot tubs or fire pit in groups in the evening, voices carry across the puddle (no way this is a lake) and can seem deafening. We kept quiet but something to tell your guests ahead of time. Overall, we would return but will keep in mind the limitations of the "hot" tubs and the fact that the futons are uncomfortable. We will likely bring inflatable beds for those who can't do the futons.Internet connection was great. Plenty of glasses, coffee cups, plates, silverware etc. Nothing plastic so those traveling with kids should bring their own. Pots and pans were fine but I’m glad I brought my own cast iron skillet and metal spatula.

This was my first visit and I loved this place so much! We stayed in the lodge (they also offer cabins). I loved the cozy decor of the lobby and guestroom. You feel like you're in a mountain cabin. The place is relatively small so you feel like you have individualized service. The employees were so nice. The moment we checked in Terri gave us a tour, showing us the communal kitchen that all guests can use (to cook, put your own food in the fridge, get ice, etc). The lodge has a giant wraparound porch with swings. The location is a bit off the beaten path so you will find plenty of solitude. I highly recommend the Cliffview!

This was our 8th day at Cliffview Resorts. Our reservation was for The Lakeside. After all of our guests arrived, unpacked and had dinner going on the stove, we were informed that we needed to move to the Retreat due to issues from the water. Very unhappy, but we were reimbursed for one of our 3 nights. After moving to The Retreat we found it to be in just fair condition. Several TVs not working, both hot tubs not working properly and pretty dirty in many places. There were several other minor things that we just overlooked. We had several people in our group with medical conditions that made it difficult to make the trek to the fire pit. (main reason we choose The Lakeside every year). Everyone in group-20 of us agreed things were not as nice as in years past. This all being said, we love the area and spending time with friends each year. They seriously need to do a deep clean several times a year to these cabins (and move furniture to vacuum).

Love Cliffview resort! Our family has been vacationing in Cliffview resort for many many years. We took our children every summer and now we take our children and their children! Love Inspiration Point for the entire family BUT LOVE LOVE Honey Bear Love for a quite, sweet, romantic getaway for my husband and I.

The room was very nice. We had access to the balcony and it had several swings and chairs to enjoy the view. Our room was on the second floor and the kitchen downstairs had soda and waters. There were a few pastries and coffee for breakfast. Very pleasant, helpful people running the inn. It is way off the beaten path but well worth the drive to have something so cozy and quiet.

My husband and I chose this lodge while we enjoyed hiking a couple of days in the area. This was absolutely a wonderful, home-feeling place and the lady that we dealt with was so accommodating! I say thanks to her and her excellent attentiveness and friendliness. Great experience, nice and quiet, and beautiful views. Would stay again!

If you’re looking to host a wedding here, don’t bother. Many of the other reviews were promising for me to host my wedding here but after conversation with Meredith Pitts I quickly realized that that was never going to happen. I messaged her 3 times after she asked for details on different days at different times and received nothing. I finally just said forget it and now I’m trying to warn other brides. I had a budget of $10000 for a wedding here. So maybe if you’re planning to spend 20,000+ for this they’ll reply.Worst venue I’ve ever spoke to. Would never recommend, not even to an enemy. Ridiculous.

My family and I stayed at the Gorge-Us Getaway cabin located at Cliffview Resort from 12/23/2021 - 12/28/2021. We were disappointed in the condition of the cabin. The overall appearance of the cabin was unkept. There was trash under the deck outside and the grill was a mess. The interior was dusty and there was a bottle cap lying underneath the TV stand. The kitchen area was not very clean. There was garbage (egg shells and such) wedged between the refrigerator and the counter. The appliances were heavily soiled with grease and other splattered debris. The refrigerator leaked on the inside and into the floor. Many of our food items were saturated with water. The front right burner on the gas stove did not function properly and gas would continue to escape when it was in the off position. It took some manipulation to get it to stop. We were expecting the kitchen to be stocked with the supplies needed to cook meals. There were 2 small sauce pans and the non-stick coating was peeling from both. There were no frying pans; however, there was a griddle. The baking pans were not in good condition. The cooking utensils were not clean nor in good condition. Thank goodness we brought a few items of our own. All of the dinning table chairs were coming apart at the top and not very sturdy. My husband and I used the queen bed with the adjoined bathroom. Our vanity faucet sprayed in every direction and it was nearly impossible to use without getting your clothes wet. There was no heat vent in that bathroom. The mattresses were covered with plastic and we discovered why. The morning we were leaving we found a bedbug in the regular bed. I am a nurse practitioner and I know what they look like. Luckily none of us received any bites. The trip was not all bad. The location of the cabin is serene and I imagine that it is beautiful in the summer and fall. The hot tub seemed clean and sanitary. It was relaxing.OK location for a get-a-way, but I would choose a different cabin. The one we chose was not worth the price.
