Refuses to deliver my mail

Absolutely zero customer service. You get the sense that the workers don’t want to be there. Felt like my presence there was annoying to them. Service took forever, and when I mentioned I was waiting for a while, I was told I had to be patient and it took even longer. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

Good luck getting anything accomplished with Thelma. I own 5 cabins here in town but live in louisville. Because my ID doesn’t have my cabin address on it, they won’t give me my mail. They incorrectly tagged my mail as “deliver later” instead of “return to sender” which means it sat on their truck but wouldn’t let me pick it up even though it all had my name on it. Thelma acted like she had no clue where my road was, which is less than a mile from post office and is definitely wide enough for two cars (which is their rule). Fortunately UPS and Fedex have been GREAT! Unfortunately, I don’t get to pick who delivers when ordering off Amazon. Thelma needs to retire!

The worst experience I've ever had at any post office many times. I'll never be back in that place. I'll drive to Jackson or anywhere that go back there. The workers are very rude and do not want to do their jobs and help people. I was going through chemo for stage 3 cancer and had lost around 100 lbs. Because the picture on my license didn't quite look like me because of the weight I had lost in my face they would not cash a money order. Went to Jackson. No problem. I told them to call the police but they didn't want to do that. That's not the only bad story. Not many people in Wolfe county like the place. Oh yeah make sure you take your own pen, tape, and anything else you might need. I couldn't get a 2 inch piece of tape once. Wouldn't bother me if I drove by and the place was gone and shut down.

As a place to drop off mail this PO is adequate. IF, however, you have a problem or need to interact with the employees, in particular the postmaster this is the worst post office ever! With the exception of one or two employees the postal workers are not just impolite they are often rude. The postmaster abuses her power and makes arbitrary rules that are found nowhere in the DMM or the office mail delivery manual. Unfortunately there is only one post office for this small city, so we are stuck with what we have.

The postmaster is extremely rude at this post office. She tried to tell us the address where my parents have been getting their mail for years does not exist. Funny how they are getting their mail and then all of the sudden it just stops coming. This was noticed a few months back, but become more apparent when my dad, who is dying from cancer, failed to get his birthday cards. These cards were returned to senders. Shame on you!

My experience with this post office is always negative. The people here are rude and act like it's a chore to help customers. I wish we had a different post office to go to besides this one at the Parkway Spur. Dread even going in it.
