Took a trip out to Eastern KY to see these awesome forest trolls!! Me and my friend took the walking trails to visit each one.even though you could visit each by staying in your car. Couple of things we learned on this trip was 1 good thing they gave us a map and two if we were in a horror movie we'd be dead lol because I got us lost a couple of times and my friend kept wanting to go off the trails lol. I would definitely visit again. It was very beautiful

First time here and really enjoyed myself. This place covered over 16,000 acres. So much to see and do. We started at the visitor building, looked in the gift shop and then headed out the back entrance towards the trail of the Giants. The artist who made the giants payed attention to the details, Mama Loumari over looking Lake Nevin. Little Nis near the Hubbuch Holly Collection & Little Elina near the Cypress Tupelo Swamp. The trees still had hues of red, yellow and Orange, absolutely gorgeous in Fall.Look forward to returning to finish another trail.

Easy to navigate. Our daughter had a boot on from injuring her foot and she was able to hike to see two of the three giants. Two of the giants were accessible easily by driving to a parking lot and "hiking" on concrete. People had strollers and one family had a wagon. I would say a wheel chair could easily see the baby giant and possibly the mama giant. There is a $15 donation per car when you arrive, but they do ask how much you would like to donate, incase you can do less than $15. The outdoor play ground was really neat. They had a nice gift shop. Being quarters for fish and turtle food. We saw about 50 turtles.

Very nice, clean and quiet! Entrance fee is optional donation! Forest has been well kept and does deserve donations to stay that way:)

It was a great visit with plenty of trails to walk and semi easy access to see all three creatures. It is quite a walk to visit all three, but you can drive around the park for quicker access. Overall, we enjoyed the time outside and hope to visit again. They do ask for a donation per vehicle. We gave $15 and feel it is well worth the price. I do wish they would fix the wood on the creatures that is falling off.

Such a beautiful and relaxing place. Support the forest by getting a membership. Donation of $15 (per car) is suggested when entering, but I'm sure they will take $5 or $10 if that's all you have. I don't think they would turn you away. Four trips at $15ea will pay for the membership then you just show you membership card upon entering. Actually a great deal. Members get a discount on special events. I haven't been to any special events yet.Very nice hiking trails or just walk near the lake or giants. The gift shop is very nice and the staff are extremely friendly. Enjoy your visit.

We have visited this park twice in the last couple of months and have had a great time. The second time we went to canopy tree walk and it was beautiful. Especially now that it is the fall season. We also have had a lot of fun seeing the giants. They seem to do a good job of keeping the place maintained. We have already recommended this park to others who have come and checked it out and had a good time.

It's definitely not a dull walk. From the trek from one giant to the next, with beautiful bridges and forests between, this place is perfect for adventures. They also have an edible garden and a sensory garden which were delicious ;) The signs say do not pick so for those easily tempted, stay away from the tomatoes and the green onions.

These are cute but I don't think it's worth the suggested donation to see. The forest giants are spread too far apart and we didn't know you could actually drive to within a reasonable distance of each one. So, just remember that if you don't want to walk a couple miles, you can drive around the park and walk a little ways to each one. The trail sign to the little one was broken and someone laid it on a rock. We ended up going the wrong way because the map was confusing and walked at least an extra mile uphill out of the way. It's a nice park and wish we had more time to explore other areas. Lots of fish and turtles you can feed if you bring quarters to buy the food. The gift shop is way overpriced, so instead of the $15 donation at the entrance, maybe just buy something from the gift shop. Please, don't litter!

My kids love it here!!! I told them we were looking for giants so that was thrilling. The natural park for kids is unique. So many trails and sculptors throughout the park. Not many people the times I’ve gone. We pack snacks and food because we spend hours here and still haven’t made it through the entire park or to the third giant.

Went here on a nice warm, not hot evening at the end of August/summer. Was able to find two of the giants from driving to the different parking areas and walked a short distance to find them. We were not prepared to do the 2 mile hike around to them all. I think the last one is further away is why we didn’t make it. This is a really nice and clean park. Definitely going to stop back in when I have more time. Was in the park only about 1.5 hours. Really want to visit when the leaves start changing colors. Make sure to have some quarters with you to feed the fish and turtles some food. They turtles will come to where you’re standing waiting to be fed but we didn’t have any with us. It’s free to enter but donations are welcomed.

This park is BEAUTIFUL. It is free, but I'd recommend donating at the front gate as this park deserves it. It has maps at the visitor's center where the employees are incredibly knowledgeable and kind. The trails are very clearly marked and there are different trails with varying difficulty levels. I'd recommend bringing quarters to feed turtles and having a lot of time to explore! Some trails close early so if you're looking to do a longer trail, get there early. The Cafe has the freshest food that's grown in the park and the prices are incredible! In the gift shop, products from local artists/small businesses are available and they're so worth the prices. Definitely prepare for ticks/bugs but that comes with any outdoor place. I would certainly recommend this place to anybody - it's truly incredible and there's so much to explore. It's a must-see for sure!

It was hot out there but worth the trip. We did the hike for the Forest Giants and it was pleasant. There was a lot of wildlife on the trails. There was even more to this place that we didn't see. We will absolutely be back in the fall to see the trees changing and to walk in the cooler weather. It is free but they ask for a donation at the front gate. Cards are accepted. There are a few stations along the pond to get fish/turtle food for a quarter...definitely do that.

This place is an ecologist's/environmentalist's dream! The beauty of nature is breathtaking here, and everything is well kept!I took my children there yesterday, and even though all the trails are not easy on our stroller, there are so many ways to get from one place to another. We had our full of walking, then we had our fill of delicious food at their Cafe. Mmm!!Best part of this place is probably the electric car fueling stations. FREE charging for my plug-in hybrid was so great!P.s. if you have a culture pass for your child in summer, you can get in for FREE!

The Little Giants are here! There are plenty of great trails and views along with a nice Visitor Center with A/C! They serve ice cream as well! The “Little Giants” are a great view to see and are very unique soo if you want to catch them while they are here I’d highly advise giving Bernheim Forest a visit! Before you enter they will ask for a donation but I’d say it’s worth donating! No specific amount just any donation helps!
