“If you are looking for a place to unwind and enjoy nature . Then the DuPont lodge will not disappoint. Spend your day walking any of the 12 hiking trails. I recommend trails 4 & 6. While your there check out Cumberland and Eagle falls. It is also a great place to take your dog all of the trails except one allow pets. The lodge is also pet friendly. The sunset rise and Sunsets are incredible. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed this trip. We had no cell service but the WiFi worked very well.Rooms: The rooms are a little outdated.Nearby activities: Trail and more trails. Corbin is not far. They have restaurants and a movie theater. Also close by is corneal Sanders first restaurants.”

“Very nice BW. The rooms were nice and the fun KFC pics were a nice touch. The only thing is the corners/ crevices in the bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better. The breakfast area was nice and fully stocked with good options. Overall this was a good place to stay. Staff was nice and friendly also.”

“The guy at front desk during day is nice. The other guy (I'm guessing the other manager) is rude. My husband finally asked for more necessities after days of needing them (they never brought anything like towels or tp during mult day stay like other motels do) & when the guy asked what room, my husband got our room mixed up with my parents' room (they're staying here too). Guy brought it to them & they told him 103, but the guy heard wrong & went to 113. When he finally brought what was needed to our room, my husband apologized, & he spoke hatefully to my husband. Mix-ups happen, no need to be rude...besides, it's your job anyway. We won't be staying here anymore! Only giving 2 stars for the one kind man at front desk during early hours.”
