Walked into O’Reilly Auto Parts not knowing the difference between a serpentine belt and a snake—and left feeling like a certified mechanic (or at least like I could pretend to be one at a BBQ). The staff here is amazing—super helpful, patient, and they didn’t laugh too hard when I described my car’s problem using sound effects.
“Is it going whomp whomp or more of a screeeech?” one guy asked—like a car whisperer. Ten minutes later, I had the right part in hand and a newfound confidence I did not earn. Great place, great people, and they somehow make auto parts… fun?
10/10 would awkwardly describe car noises here again.
