I went to CVS Pharmacy this morning to refill a prescription. Five employees were working in the pharmacy area and no one was in line to pick up a prescription. Five minutes went by. Then six... Then seven...Then eight. That is when I yelled that I would take my business elsewhere. I was livid! The employees kept expecting one of the other employees to wait on me.For some reason the CVS Pharmacy that was in Covington was permanently closed and they sent records to the CVS in Latonia. They got rid of the best pharmacy. They were organized, polite, and efficient. I have had other problems with this pharmacy, but not to this extent. I can see why they only got three stars out of five. The employees need to take a course in customer service, and they need to be reprimanded for such rude behavior. This pharmacy will continue to get worse if no one puts pressure on them to improve. Thanks Yelp for helping me to feel better after I have had my say!

I went into this pharmacy on 3/17/2023 to pick up my prescriptions. One of them is a life saving blood thinner for which there is no generic. My health insurance doesn't cover much of its cost so my co-pay for a 30 day supply was $575.00. I've been trying to work with my doctor to get on something cheaper but the only viable alternative had a co-pay that was DOUBLE that! Seeing my frustration, the young pharmacy tech named Jonathan asked if I had my phone on me. I did, and he helpfully took it. Within minutes he had me enrolled to a discount program from the drug's manufacturer. With that applied, my copay was only $10.00. He also informed me that this discount would apply for a year. I couldn't believe it! While I didn't show it in the store, I nearly cried when I got out to my car. I know this young man thought he was simply doing his job but little did he know that his kind gesture meant the absolute world to me and I am forever grateful!! I would like to recognize Jonathan's outstanding customer service and for his compassion in going out of his way to help a customer in need. Thank you!

I wanted to get DTAP vaccine. Online it stated walk ins welcome. The pharmacy was not busy and there were 3 people working. No customers around. I asked for the vaccine the Jr. Pharmacist told me you need appointment. I told him on line it says walk ins welcome. He said his supervisor told him to only take appointments. So I said there is no one her he said needs appointment. That's when a woman chimed in an said you would only be able to get one for the next day. So I got on my phone and nmade and appointment and booked it for 3o minutes. Either they did not want to help or they didnt think I would check. I will not be going to that pharmacy again. They were no busy at all. I felt they just didnt want to do it.

I remember a time when I had positive experiences with CVS. It was just before the pandemic. Did everyone who knew who to run things quit the instant Covid hit???? Every interaction I have with CVS is awful anymore. I literally waited in line for 45 minutes at the one in Milford when picking up my sons medicine for my weekend about a month ago and as I type this I have been in line for 17 minutes for them to help TWO people in front of me and they still aren't to me or showing any signs of progress. If something is wrong ask them to come back or come inside. Sweet Jesus I could teach myself the chemistry and make the medicine faster than it takes for you to help one customer.Update:So apparently what took so long was the person in front of me was getting a Covid test. My review stands though because if it's going to take nearly 20 minutes to perform a Covid test why are they doing it in the drive through? I get that allowed them to use the bank style drawer and be more protected by using the drop box but who thought it was a good idea to have them do the entire thing right there? I get that people lie but there are dozens of other ways. Make people schedule an appointment, pick it up in the drive through, have someone watch from a distance while walking then through it on the phone and then go to the drop box comes to mind. Why are they alienating customers who let's be honest, don't particularly want to wait forever before driving up to the window and realizing that's a Covid box and outside or someone who might have Covid was there less than 20 seconds prior?
