I wouldn’t give them any stars if it would let me. We used them movers because we lived at Victoria square and Brighton center has a deal with them to move all the residents in VS. they moved us on Monday and the next day we notice we were missing some tools but we didn’t call til the day later because we just wanted to make sure it wasn’t here. But the movers did take it to tue truck because they asked if we needed it. The movers left their trash all over our apartment the inside an outside. The first thing they mention when they walked in was about a tip . We tried to make the Jonas easy as possible when we got to our new house we told them to just leave everything on the first floor expect a dresser an we would move the rest. I called the company to see if the toolsWe’reLeft on the truck a never a never received a call back tried calling a few more times an not gettin any answer. It’s hard telling what else is missing because we are still unpacking and they broke our dresser didn’t get mad or anything.

I would recommend hiring your next move through H Johnson Moving andStorage. Not one complaint on my side. We had 3 guys packing and movingfor us for 8 hours. They worked really well together, very professional,checking with me from time to time to and see if everything was beingmoved that needed to be moved from various areas. Their truck was packedvery neatly and orderly. They were respectful of each other as well,with lots of traffic back and forth, loading and unloading, they werevery mindful of each other, anticipating when one needed help with anitem or needed space to get by them. Their pricing was very reasonableas well! I highly recommend using H Johnson Moving and Storage for allyour moving needs!

Hired them three times, but won’t use them again. First was to move my parents into assisted living. They arrived five hours late, but the crew worked hard and late into the evening. They were careful and did a wonderful job. Further, they are local, and I wanted to support my local businesses, so I hired them again when I bought a new house around the block. Because of the proximity I packed and moved all of my things and only had furniture that needed to be moved. It still took the three men crew 9 hours to move. They charged by the hour.A piece of the sectional couch couldn’t be moved through the narrow stairs to the third floor, and they recommended to have the owner to come and see if it could be moved through the window. The owner came and decided that he could move it through the larger window in the room but clearly didn’t want to deal with taking the old window apart and put it back together again. Instead he wanted to move the sectional through a smaller back window that was half an inch too narrow (??) and said he could maybe get his crew to make some acrobatic move to get it in from the way he described it. And of course he couldn’t give me a firm quote because it may take a couple of hours to “take the legs out, wrap it up, hoist it in the air, and find the right angles….” I asked for a range, and he went from $550 to $450 to $500 and told me that it’s a 50/50 gamble.Unwilling to pay $500 for a 50/50 gamble. I removed the larger old window myself. I also took the legs off to save them time. The owner showed up at 5:20pm with a four men crew to move this 100 lbs (according to one worker) couch up the side of the house and into the third floor window. By 5:50pm they were completely done and out of the house. I was so happy I was going to tip them at first, but the bill was $600.I was grossly overcharged for 30 minutes of work.Pros: the courteous office staff, hard working crew (Thank you, Jimmy!). Cons: management and business conduct. Will not recommend or hire again.

They didn't put my bed together completely. Or the mirror on my granddaughters dresser. They were really nice when I called and said someone would come and fix. Never did. I am trying to fix my self. I'm an elderly women. Always had them but no more.

Incredibly dishonest service. I had a basically new 65 inch TV that worked perfectly. After a move from Cincinnati to Jacksonville, the screen on the TV only works on one side - obviously damaged on the move. this company says the damage was probably due to a loose wire or something and bumpy roads caused the damage so they are not responsible. so the TV worked perfectly before the move and when finally at the destination it no longer works. Not their problem they said!!! Must be the roads or a bad wire. They aren't responsible for something that happens in transit! WTF? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

DO NOT HIRE WILLIAM HH JOHNSON MOVING!! We called to receive a quote for a hot tub move in Lexington. After an explanation of pick up and drop off locations, we were told we would receive a call back after Jason, the owner, could determine how many men were needed for the job. We were quoted five men, and an estimated one hour move (locations were 1.2 miles apart) totaling $645.00. The ONLY additional charge would be if it took Ionger then one hour to move between the locations. We booked the move, arranged to have the electrician and owners of the property at the pickup location. When no one called at the estimated time of move I called, left two messages. No one returned the call. When we did reach the office we were informed the movers were on the way and she had made a mistake in the quote and it was actually going to be $905.00. We asked to speak to the owner and we were told we could cancel the team but a decision was needed quickly, as they were already in Versailles and would be there soon. First, I was quoted $645.00 and booked the move based on that quote. As business owners, we know how important honesty and integrity are. If we make a mistake we fix it! Baiting and switching is wrong, changing the price on the move day ON THE WAY there is 100% wrong. If the hot tub did not need to be moved the exact day and time we had arranged, we would have canceled them in a second. Jason, the owner had the opportunity to make things right and did not. My final bill was $975.00 for a 12.15- 2:00 move in Lexington, KY. Save yourself the trouble and avoid calling William HH Johnson.
