I have to say one of the most fascinating stores I have been to. Not only was the store unquie, but the service was phenomenally fantastic. The whole experience just felt magical. Highly recommend

Augur and Coil run the most interesting shop in Covington. There are strange and intriguing things all over the store, so you always want to be looking high and low to not miss anything. The collection of books crosses a great span, from occultism to Druidry to divination and even to self-improvement. Besides the collection, the inside and outside architecture are perfectly formed to make one forget they were ever in the 21st century. Not only that, but the things you take home are meticulously wrapped and sealed to complete the experience. Everyone in the family found something to take home, and we will definitely be coming back.

Really gorgeous place. Exactly the style of an esoteric store that I love. Really well stocked with books and herbs. I really enjoyed their shelf of magic wands of an Italian craftsman. Really nice and helpful staff. And their cat is wonderful. I really enjoyed my time in this store, I highly recommend it.

This place is enchanting and the staff is always wonderful! Such a vast collection of books, gems, artifacts and oddities! Did I mention they have a big fluffy black kitty?!? Such a sweet girl!!

This is such a lovely little shop! The passion the owners have for their craft is evident. Coil created me a beautiful talisman tailored to my needs, explained in detail every component she was adding and why, and responded promptly and kindly when I had a question later. I would highly recommend Hierophany & Hedge for any magical needs or if you just want an interesting way to kill some time.

Wow. The passion the owners have for this shop shines through in every aspect of my experience there. From the store itself, (could be a museum or right out of a movie) to the exceptional curation of products, to the above and beyond customer experience they have created. I don’t know much about magic or witchery but I still ended up with a few new things to explore! Such a gem in Covington!

Knowledgeable, welcoming, and engaging owners, an amazing assortment of supplies, and a spooky, witchy je ne se quoi. The hours aren't the best but this place is 100% worth the minor inconvenience of having weird hours.

The store’s aesthetic is gorgeous but the very limited hours (only open for two hours?) means that it tends to get very busy… and it’s a small store. So far I have had to leave every time due to claustrophobia before I am able to find something I want to purchase. Parking is also a nightmare on this street.
But the owners are absolutely lovely and it’s worth a visit if you like looking at witchy books, beautiful candles and tarot decks, and a wide crystal/herb selection.

This place is what every metaphysical shop should have been. I walked in and was transported to a dream like the fairy tales of the magicians. If I could I would get everything piece of merchandise they sale. Will definitely be back.

Before crossing the threshold of this splendid shoppe of extraordinary goods, I spotted feline familiars through the glass, guarding against ill intent and beckoning me forward. Upon entering, I discovered that I had traversed the veil from our prosaic, mundane world into a realm of dreams and spirit presence. In the first chamber I found the purveyors of this outstanding establishment treating guests with quiet solicitousness and concern for possible psychic disturbance. Upon perambulation into the second chamber, I found the sense of magic to increase to the point it could be felt as vibrancy from tips to toes. I observed many talismans and mysterious objects, some available for purchase and transport and others to be simply admired carefully in the shadows. Throughout the venue there was an absolutely exquisite attention to minute detail and dark beauty. I allowed myself some time for examination and careful selection and left with several items, seeking to carry a spark of magic with me to my own humble abode. It is now the following day, and upon awakening in the morn, I asked myself if it were all but a lovely dream, the product of my dearest fancy, but lo! I spy my purchases, which give truth to the imaginings. Given all, I recommend this experience of higher consciousness, without reservation, to those seeking mystery beyond the ordinary humdrum world of the day to day. Maximum stars.
