Great venue, but they do not enforce their no smoking policy on the ground floor/inside of the building. There is little ventilation in the pit, so the smoke built up and my friends got sick from inhaling so much.
The outside upper area is supposed to be the smoking area and it was much easier to breathe. Still wish I could have stayed in the pit, though.
Other than that, it was great and still managed to have fun!

Suitable for rock concerts but they did not play to crowd. A bar was set up with alcohol. No snacks , etc.

A nice place for medium sized concert venue. Many restaurants in the local area for meals before events. Reasonable price drinks at the bar. It's very long and narrow and the walkways get quite crowded and are largely filled with patrons during the concerts I have attended at this venue. It does make it difficult to move if you need to get around in the facility. Definitely not handicapped accessible in the main auditorium. All in all, nice place to see a concert. A dated facility and it's offerings are minimal, accordingly. Restrooms are small for the size of the venue and lines can get long for longer concert events. The reason one star missing from the review is the poor policing that the staff does to keep the walkways clear. I get that concerts are casual events, but it would certainly be trouble if there were an emergency of some sort during a show. Most other venues do a lot to keep walkways clear at all times and this event center does not. Otherwise I like it a lot.

Madison Theater is actually sick to see live shows. The tiers work to your advantage if you want to get close to your favorite bands. The sound is very impactful and immersive. Check it out!

Acoustics have been great, and the shows I've seen have all been well set up. Place itself is clean enough & in a good location. Definitely one of the louder venues I've been to, but I'm glad they provide ear plugs at a small price!
However, every show gets hot & sweaty - needs better air flow. Staff were unclear on an apparent HOUR delay to our concert starting, leaving us twiddling our thumbs last night. Serving staff were rude, and they always try to force expensive water bottles on you - you have to really interrupt them in order to get a basic free cup of water. Which you'll need, because again, the place gets hot and sweaty!

My Daughter and I attended the EVNNE Concert 10/15/2025. We had never been to The Madison. I use a rollator walker and was really nervous about the venue!!! MERCY!!!! The Madison Staff were absolutely AWESOME!! We were treated with such respect and grace. We stayed with another person in a wheelchair. The one you g man was tall, long salt and pepper hair pulled back in a pony tail with a dew rag on, I wish I would have gotten his name. He came out to reassure us that they would take care of us and they did! They kept us out of the big line and made sure we did not get shoved, showed us right to the ADA section which was PERFECT! Made sure we were comfortable, got chairs for our people that were with us. Everything about The Madison is Classy, respectful and we had a blast!!!! There were so many people and they handled the crowd amazingly! The venue was so clean and well taken care of. Thank you The Madison for making our evening Crazy fun and AWESOME!!! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE MADISON!!! They rocked!!! Seriously, Thank you a million times over!

Last couple times me or friends have tried to come here to buy tickets at the box office BEFORE closing time they tell us to wait and the “wait” is until after closing time so they don’t have to do their jobs and make a sale. very frustrating.

Great lay out, acoustics were immaculate. 2 bars parallel to each other and made getting drinks very easy and uncrowded. Really enjoyed the rooftop smoke area(picture attached)

Horrible venue. Never before have I been to a venue as cramped as this one. Stage is way too low, even up close it's near impossible to see the stage.

Terrible echo. Terrible lighting. The music sounds far away when sitting in the balcony.
