I went in to Phipps to get prints of my artwork for a pop up I was doing. They didn't even bother printing copies of one of my pieces. all the pieces were desaturated and looked visibly different/way lighter from my originals. There were important details missing in the prints and it was clear they didn't care about making sure they were quality or looked like my originals! I was only able to use about half of the prints for this show. they got them done in about two hours which was nice because I needed them that day, however, while it was fast it wasn't the quality or even quantity that I needed.

I am an author and my publisher sent me a dozen advance copies of my latest novel, which I wanted to hand out for Christmas the following week. Unfortunately, the book-jackets were not ready yet. So I took a jpeg of the jacket to the pros at Phipps. The unusual dimensions of the jacket were an issue, and forced their production specialist to try several different solutions. But even though this was a very small order (it only cost $9), they took the time and trouble to get it right. "Large or small, complete customer satisfaction is our goal."Thank you Phipps for saving Christmas for me!

I am really disappointed. I have used Phipps twice previously for business cards and went in with a design change for a new order. I showed Matt what I wanted and he said he did not think he could do that but he would let me know for sure later in the afternoon. I did subsequently receive an email from him stating he indeed could not do it the way I had it planned. I replied stating I understood but wondered if I could come in the next day and speak with him about what I needed to change. His reply - “I can’t really take time to discuss anything like this in person.” I guess the two other employees talking about celebrity divorces while I was there the day before were busy, too. Jeesh! I mean I know I’m not a big sale but really?!? I went to Staples today and in 11 minutes, they mocked up my design and I will pick up my cards tomorrow and for a cheaper price.
