We had such a wonderful experience with this hotel. When we checked in it was fast and very friendly ladies at the front desk. Once in our room it was very clean and welcoming. The view tho!!! ?

People are nice, but the place needs maintenance. 5000k bulbs and mismatched lighting everywhere…thought it was some type of prestigious hotel in cincinnati. Maybe 30 years ago.

This place was great! Clean rooms, very nice small bar area downstairs! The bartender was awesome and friendly! The cook was very nice and the rotating restaurant did not disappoint. We had a great time and the location is awesome to lots of things in Cincinnati. I recommend 100%. Don’t listen to the bad reviews because this is a nice hotel!!

Smell of moldy smoke when we arrive at our room. Floor had crumbs, dirty shoe/foot marks on tile and inside shower, cup ring marks that made it evident the counters had not been wiped off, a huge hairball on window curtain, dirty toilet seat, and huge dark stains on carpet, and makeup on the pillow case.
I immediately notified office by text. I have texts where staff said that they were sold out and they would move me sometime the next day. I called and filed a complaint with Choice hotels where I made reservation. I was told that they would reach out to Manager.
We had to stay the first night because of lack of rooms available in the area. I went to the Office early the next morning. The lady at the desk was very nice as another guest was leaving because of the loud interstate noise and dirty room. The front desk lady said that she was new to this property but had to wait on the Manager to make a decision on what to do about returning my money. I had reservation for 2 nights. I told her that I was leaving and going to a clean hotel for my second night. She couldn't tell me if I would get my money back for the second day of my reservation or the horrible nights that I had. I showed her photos of the nasty room.
I left and got a room at another hotel. A few hours later the lady at the desk called and said that I would not be responsible for the payment on the second night. She said she didn't know what the Manager would do about the night that I arrived.
I still haven't got a call from the staff about my refund. I also showed photos to the desk clerk or the nasty room condition.
I called the Choice Hotel home office again. I am still wondering why the Manager hasn't refunded my money? This was a horrible experience and I don't usually complain.
This property was the Radisson in Covington, Ky.
Rooms: Very nasty! Loud traffic noise from the interstate. $7 per day to park in sketchy lot of hotel!

Edit at the end of this review
DO NOT BOOK HERE
Booked a King one bed for two nights. Had high hopes as the lobby was clean, but the room was not as clean as one would expect. The desk and night stand had food residue and visible drink rings left from the previous guest. The tv screen was also cracked. The bathroom walls were also less than desirable to sit next too when going to the bathroom. You also have to pay $7 a night to park on the property, while not a huge deal if you can actually park on the properties lot. They had an event of some sort going on leaving us to have to park down the street in a pay to park parking lot for a night of our stay, while still being charged the $7 from the hotel. These issues were brought to the attention of the hotel, but never got a response. Overall it was a decent place, the bed seemed clean, but that’s about it. Definitely not worth $500 for two nights. We more than likely won’t be returning to this hotel on our next Cincinnati trip. Photos are attached to show everything I spoke of.
**Edit**
These problems were made aware to the staff and through text messages and no one ever responded to me directly. The only response I have got is to this review, and it’s clearly because it is public. No personal response was ever made to me when at the hotel or after. Read all the recent reviews about how gross this place is and how rude they are. !!! DO NOT BOOK HERE !!! The response to all the reviews say “ this does not reflect our hotel…. Blah blah blah.” But allll these reviews are accurate about how dirty, dated, overpriced, and rude.

We stayed on the top floor/city view. I was cautious after previous reviews. However, our room was clean, and the view was amazing. Close to concert venue, dinner was good, staff was friendly and helpful. It’s just an older, more vintage type of hotel.

Yep...things unfortunately change, and this hotel isn't quite the gem it used to be, through no fault of their own, though. The neighborhood is sketchy AF, and I did not feel comfortable staying there in the least.
It's still a nice hotel and close to downtown, but between the location and traffic SNAFUS, there's only one saving grace, and that IS the rooms and hotel interior are nice. Just close your eyes when you walk outside, and everything will be fine.
Unless you're a local and are THOROUGHLY familiar with the area, I'd make a "hard pass" on this Raddison, sadly.

4 star view (but there are other hotels with that super close) with a zero star hotel. Hotel room had a ROACH in my fridge , dirty floors, dust on all furniture and holes in ceilings and walls. When confronted the front desk staff didn’t offer any type of discount, free breakfast, free parking (which is $7 a night how laughable!) or ANYTHING probably because they get these complaints often (59 reviews on Google who’s review includes roaches! And MANY saying how dirty it was!) I should’ve taken other peoples reviews more seriously but made a mistake- do as I say and not as I do. The hotel staff clearly doesn’t care and has done nothing to fix it or make customers feel better about staying at their dirty roach hotel. Pictures to follow. If I owned this hotel I’d be reevaluating my staff.

We stayed here for a bengals game. It got busy on the Saturday but was quiet by Monday night.
If you are staying to go to paycor stadium it will probably work out decently. It was a bit dated, but not a terrible place to stay by any stretch.
Walkability: Paycor stadium, also food options.

I booked a last minute room here today for an event this weekend. Then I read the reviews. When I called customer service (not the hotel) to cancel they said no way because it was past 4 pm the day before check in - I didn't book the room until after 4 pm so canceling the reservation before 4 pm would have been impossible. I said look this is a health hazard, no way am I paying over $300 to sleep with bed bugs and cockroaches. I'm not canceling because I want to, I HAVE to. Front desk never mentioned pest infestation when I made the reservation (why would they). They acted like they were doing me a favor by charging me $270. I also mentioned I was bringing my 3 year old. Choice hotels customer service admitted that was gross but still refused the refund. So I called back AGAIN and finally someone canceled the reservation for me because they understood we are human beings. Insanity, why are they still allowed to sell rooms, let alone at those prices, knowing full well they are infested?
Thank you everyone who told the truth and saved my family from filth. I appreciate you all so much!
