This was only my 3rd time at Glitzy Nails in Crestview Hills (off Buttermilk Rd)—but I’m hooked. 💅 Big thanks to my friend and 741 Wellness regular, Teresa Vocke, for recommending it. She knew exactly what I needed after all that exercising each week.
Their spa pedicure massage is phenomenal. And here’s one reason it hits so good—when they work around your ankles and heels, it’s more than just a foot rub. In Eastern healing, that area connects to grounding, safety, and courage. It’s where fear shifts into strength. So when they rub back and forth in that sensitive path between your ankle and heel, think about that!
And let’s be honest—this isn’t just about pretty toes. It’s about mental health. It’s about letting yourself be cared for. It’s about remembering you are worthy of pampering. And it’s not one of those rub-a-dub all done quicky massages either.
The staff is always nice and professional. I never know when they are on their earbud phone or talking to me, so I just sit there and relax. They will tell me when they need something. 🤣🤣🤣
So yes, shout out to Glitzy Nails… but also a gentle nudge for you: find those little rituals that ground you and remind you that you’re worth it.
Manicure, spa pedicure, French paint tip on both, gel polish, $125 plus 20% tip.

The place itself was very dusty, they do not clean tools between clients or anything, i watched them use the same set of tools on me , my friend , and 3 other clients. The lady doing our nails did not listen to what we wanted really and left us to work on another workers client and left me and my friend sitting waiting to be polished while the other worker stood there. they had their kids here and it did not seem organized at all, they all had both sets of airpods in the whole time aswell. Very unprofessional and overall, not a great experience, but i will say the woman is good at designs and french tips.

I don't know why anyone would complain about the service at Glitzy. They work so hard to make sure everyone that comes in is taken car of. They are there from early morning til 7 or later at night. If their kids are there, it's because they are a FAMILY and sometimes, kids have to come along. It's THEIR business and if they want their kids to be there, that is their choice to do so. They're teaching their children a work ethic and family sticks together and helps one another, that is something I think a lot of people don't quite understand anymore but could learn a lesson from them about work ethic! They do a great job and they really don't charge that much for what they do. They could charge a lot more. Always do good work for me and my husband LOVES it there! He gets a spa pedicure and a manicure and he is in heaven every time he goes there. WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

My 10 year old saw Miki yesterday for a pedicure and manicure with gel. She has not stopped talking about how great it was! Miki took great time with her, offered her a suggestion to really make her toes pop (and I copied) and created an unforgettable experience for her! She is still talking about it today!

I asked for a GEL SET NOT ACRYLIC when I first walked in. Then the lady starts to put acrylic on my nails and I politely asked where was the gel. THEN the rude ass manager that doesn’t understand English said I didn’t ask for gel…really lady?! THEM wanted to charge me $30 to take them off. Then she ran to my car and started taking pictures. Cops were called and they didn’t get a single dime from me. DO NOT GO HERE - not only do they know how to do their job but they don’t understand English. Maybe they should just close up shop!!!!!

🤎 Family owned business. They are all amazing! They continue to be the most reasonably priced, provide the best service, with very little to no wait times, & above all, they never disappoint! Still my favorite nail salon 7 years later. Thank you Lyn!

The worst treatment ever! This place has potential but their misbehaving children need to go! Next, I mistakenly asked for a color choice from a brand...they said they didn't have that. It took a moment for me to remember the exact brand and finally they found my color. Not sure why they couldn't draw the conclusion sooner but I'll give them the benefit of so many names to remember for each brand they have...okay. But then to keep repeating the situation over and over in their language and rolling their eyes and giggling over my mistake. I will NEVER GO BACK...HOPE THEY ENJOY SLEEPING ON KNOWING I TIPPED THEM A 5* TIP BUT THEY CERTAINLY DIDN'T EARN IT!

I went there last week to get a full set of acrylics before I left for vacation and 4 days of me having my nails 3 of them popped off. Definitely would not recommend. Not to mention the whole time kids were running around in there.

I went in for a gel manicure. I had dip polish on my nails that needed to be removed. My technician did not know what he was doing when trying to remove my dip powder. He burnt my nails several times with a drill. I let him know it was hurting me he proceeded to start blowing on my nails. Then he started sticking fake nail tips between my nail and the hard dip powder to try and lift the dip off. This also hurt! He finally got acetone out and put acetone on a cotton ball wrapped in aluminum foil. When he took the aluminum foil off, the Colton balls were stuck on my nail. He had to scrub them off and drill them off. I walked in the salon at 1245 by 2pm he had just started with the gel manicure.
I have had dip powder removed at this location before and did not experience this treatment. Instead of being apologetic for my experience they proceeded to charge me extra $ because they had to remove the powder and because it took so long. This was the worst nail salon experience I’ve ever had. I will not be back. I’m not a complainer or someone who ever writes reviews. I am simply astonished that not only was I burned by nail drills, and hurt by the nail technician, but I was charged extra for the horrible treatment that should be included in the manicure.

I walked in to get gel on my hands and toes, I was in a rush and they had me done and sent out in under 40 minutes and nails look perfect!

went in to get 3 sets for my wedding. They didn't like the colors so told me an ombre look with turquoise and black could not be done. So I asked for turquoise with black tips like a French manicure, again refused me. Their page says $60 a set. I was charged $252, with a discount for paying cash (5%) it was $240. I had settled for only because it was an appointment I scheduled late in the day the day previous to my wedding....

I will not go back.... the girl who did my nails was totally unable to communicate with me.. she would not look at me... and she didn't look at my feet... and she was very rough on my feet both when cutting the toenails and when exfoliating the feet ... The roughness resulted in CUTS ON MY FEET... and SCRAPES ON MY FEET... I think it is about time for the State of Kentucky to make sure that the people working at nail salons have a legal certification FROM KENTUCKY....

This was the best experience I have ever had getting my nails done, I called and made an appointment and they stayed late to make sure they finished. They did exactly what I wanted and we’re so nice, most of the time I feel pressured to tip they didn’t even ask about a tip, which made me more inclined to give them a larger tip!
