“Last week, I was visiting Kentucky while staying at my grandma’s home, and during my time there, I had the chance to visit this liquor store. I’m truly glad I did. I traveled all the way from Manitoba to Kentucky, and this stop turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip.
The store has one of the best bourbon collections in Kentucky, including an impressive selection of limited-edition and hard-to-find bottles. The variety, quality, and presentation of the bourbons were outstanding and perfect for both collectors and true bourbon lovers.
The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, making the experience even better. If you’re looking for premium bourbon or exclusive releases, this place is absolutely worth visiting. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kentucky. ?”
“Super awesome folks here! Very nice! Very knowledgeable! Very helpful! They had exactly what they said they had...which was what I specifically came there to buy. They showed me a few other options as well and I was very pleased!”
“I stopped in with 7 minutes to spare. I was met with a warm hello from the lady at the cash register. Even better, a phenomenal lady gave me a gentle nudge that I had 6 minutes to check out - must have very strict liquor sales regulations in Kentucky. I told her I needed bourbon only sold in Kentucky. She showed me the Kentucky section and proceeded to rattle off some great selections. After my whirlwind shopping spree, I ran the labels past ChatGPT and the phenomenal lady was spot on with her choices! Needless to say, my bourbon/scotch loving husband was impressed with the bourbon selection. Being from Wisconsin, she even suggested a bourbon for old fashions. Truly an amazing!”
“Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Liquor Barn in Springhurst, and I can confidently say it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the impressive range of products lining the shelves. Paul has everything from popular favorites to those elusive bottles that are tough to find elsewhere. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it easy to browse and explore without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
What truly will make your visit special is to meet Paul. His expertise and genuine passion for the industry shone through as we chatted, and I quickly realized how valuable his insights and recommendations were. Paul is clearly a subject matter expert, and his willingness to answer questions and share knowledge will add a whole new layer to your shopping experience. Whether you’re hoping to track down a specific bottle or are simply browsing for inspiration, Paul’s guidance is both thoughtful and informative.
For anyone in the Louisville, KY area or just passing through like I was, I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by Liquor Barn in Springhurst. The combination of an extensive selection and exceptional customer service ensures you’ll find what you’re looking for and leave with a smile. My thanks again to Paul for making my visit so memorable, and I look forward to dropping by again the next time I’m in town!”
“I love going to Cox's for my cigarettes, because they always have amazing deals. They also have a card to which you earn rewards with every purchase and once you get so many points accumulated you receive $5 off of your purchase the girl that works in there is also super friendly and helpful and so courteous to all customers.”
“Once per week ~ I go to the store to restock my domestic party needs and purchase two big jugs of Jim beam, Ginger ale, and various accoutrements and implements required for a proper J-Town party.. The employees at the store are amazing! So friendly, helpful, and willing to go beyond and above. They take care of my beagle, always giving her extra doggie treats as she has come to expect from the drive-thru lol. I would never go to any other store. They are pet friendly, and people/me friendly. As I go throughout my life, whenever I can and it's appropriate, I always recommend my friends and people that I meet to go to the store. I've even been blessed and lucky to have purchased a $1,000 and a $500 winning lottery ticket from this place.. and I barely play the lottery. I love this store and the people here are amazing! I asked them to order me something special, and the next week it was there. Cannot stress enough how much I love this place I'm a customer for life! And that's because of the people, your staff is amazing! Sincerely-banana T-Bird beagle guy <3 LOL my dog loves you too”
“This was the first Smoke Shop I ever went. It is where I bought my first cigar, and where I learned about pipe tobacco.J.Paul has always been the most helpful in that process which is why I will be a lifetime patron of Oxmoor Smoke Shoppe.I just found out today that he went to be with The Lord a few months ago. Thankful for the conversations I was able to have with him, and for the establishment that he has built in Louisville. This is the place to go!”
“These are some of the nicest people I ever met ..an the prices hands down the vest iv ever payed trust me go see these guys if this shop don't have it then they don't make it ..GOOOOO SEE THESE GUYS AN GET YOUR MIND AN VIBE RIGHT”
“The Guys that run/ work at this place are down to earth some may take them a rude! I did @ first but I now go in there every other week to get my husbands dip and our cigarettes and I found I was wrong that are not trying to be rude they are just......down to earth. and they are really helpful”
“I go to Cox’s quite often, and they’re an awesome outlet on Westport Road, Thanks to one of the managers that helped me out, this guy overseas Operations I appreciate that.”
“This is my go to place while living in the Louisville area. The selection is mind blowing the prices are reasonable and there is a rewards program. Once the staff gets to know you they make you feel like family just take the time to know the staff always friendly and willing to help and really take care of their regular customers.”
“This is my favorite and a great smoke shop/bodega and I don't even smoke anything. I have known Henry for years and while he can be a little rough around the edges with people sometimes, at the end of the day he puts his everything and all into running this store on the days that he is working. I would gladly refer this store to anyone who needs a smoking product or just a simple drink or various household product that you might have ran out of if you live in that area of town. Richard who works on weekends is a great whole hearted guy as well. He will gladly help you find what you need and go out of his way to make sure the customer is satisfied. If you want a down to earth experience from a family owned business, I highly recommend that you shop here.”

“The lady in the drive through was just so sweet and kind. She was just cool and Im not used to that so it was nice to have such a pleasant interaction with someone. Idk her name but she knows who she is. Thank you Maam that small amount of kindness is what I needed.”
“Came in yesterday on my lunch break for a vape, Brandy had exceptional customer service and was able to talk to me about the different products they offered (also they have a cool little seating area where she had fallout 4 setup one of my favorites). Aside from being in a semi difficult spot to find nestled between roosters and another store front you can almost miss it but stop in and check out the inventory or maybe have a conversation and see what products fit your needs. They had everything from rda box mods to disposables like Mr fog with an extensive variety of flavors. I'll be back again. If not for another great conversation with brandy then at least another vape lol.”
“I went in there around closing time and by the time we realized the tobacco we got was outdated ( in the parking lot) they closed. But they remembered me and switched it out right away. Very friendly bunch and just makes you feel at home. I’ve been some very cold, unhelpful places. This is NOT one of those.”
“Where do I start !? These guys have it all! Everything from cool glass to fresh cigars and cigarettes. Their store is always upkept and very clean. Lastly, but most importantly to me, their employees are extremely helpful and kind. It's always a fun experience when I shop at shop today 2!!”
“The owner was so helpful tonight! I hate that I didn't get his name but he was so knowledgeable about the products for all the gummies. I needed a lot of help and he was so patient with me.
My doctor told me to get gummies for sleep and anxiety. They're so helpful and now apart of my nightly routine. I've never seen so many products in my life. Very well stocked place with nice people! Can't wait to try my new gummies tonight!”
“I live right down the road from the store. The owner Johnny is very respectful very knowledgeable. He keeps the store very clean and organized. You are more than welcome to our community thank you.”
“ive been coming here for 2 years and its been a pleasent experience every time! they answer your questions about the product and can always direct me to what im looking for. the products are great and ive only ever gotten 1 defective vape. they dont do refunds unless you check it out in the store so that was on me, but the store is great!”
