“I have been meaning to write this post since May! In May 2023, we had our wedding reception here with about 120 people. Jan was extremely flexible, helpful, and attentive to our needs. Hosting a wedding reception for so many people can really be stressful, but I felt confident in the venue we chose. I can not thank Jan enough! Also, the pricing here is very fair and you can bring outside alcohol and food! 10/10 recommend having your reception here! Thanks again, Jan!”
“I had my wedding here at the Gheens Foundation lodge and it was beautiful. This park all year round is an amazing place to explore and there is no shortage of activities to capture your attention at all times. My favorite part is the creek that my boys and my dogs love to spend our summers. Swimming in the water. One of the cleaner water ways in the area. This is a must visit for people new to Kentucky and this already here
Toilets: There are a good amount of restrooms though out the park.
Dog-friendliness: I bring my dogs here to swim all summer almost.”

The customer service was accommodating and friendly from everyone I encountered there, including manager Thomas over the phone.
The community surrounding the hotel is nice, appears to be safe, and there are restaurant options nearby.
I would definitely stay again!”

“I can't say enough positive things about this bowling alley. The owners put money into making this the nicest bowling alley I have bowled in. In the past few years they replaced the carpeting, installed new seating, remodeled the pro shop, children's play area, and bar. There is no wonder it's always busy. Employees are friendly and always willing to take care of guests.”

“This theater is my preferred place for movies. I appreciate the butter machine, the reclining seats with little lap desks (they have easy-to-see seat numbers on them!), and it's usually not incredibly crowded when we go. Like all theaters, you can tell they've cut down on funding and hours, but the employees are doing their best with what they've got.”

“Everything was great. Except no matter how we tried we could not get my Chromebook online and the one computer they had was not set up and ready to use. I especially like happy hour free red wine and white wine and free beer up to 3 glasses. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.”

“I cannot express enough how amazing this venue is. They seriously were worth every penny! The staff was wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure my day was perfect. Shout out to Klara for being so good at her job! It rained the entire day of my wedding, but they were so accommodating and flexible it made the day way less stressful! I highly recommend this venue. Not to mention, it is absolutely stunning as well! The getting ready areas were so cute, and the outside is gorgeous. SO happy I got married here!”
