So I came here expecting to spend a good amount of money but only left with one thing which is sad because I had just come from family dollar down the street where I just spent over $200.00. You might be wondering ? why would she spend that much at one and so little at the other.. answer is simple at FD I was able to go through the whole store buying stuff I didn't even know I wanted because I was able to see and get to everything they had whereas DG had almost every section blocked with carts and boxes where you couldn't even get through by yourself let alone with a cart. The really sad part is they only had one employee at the time was stocking then having to stop and wait on customers so there was no point in having all that blocking things.. this seems to be happening alot when I go in lately. If I can't get my cart through then I'm not going through simple as and I'm not the only one that feels that way so you're missing out a lot of money.

I had bought sale items, but the sale price wasn’t reflected on my receipt. I had to beg him to look see what I was seeing. Then he acted dumb. I ask him for adjustment. He said I’m not going to do it but if you want to return it, I’ll do that. Wow. Then he took off to back of the store and let the girls handle my return. He threw them under the bus and those girls didn’t realize that. They were too busy having a hen fest over me than to realize what he did. She did my returns and told me to have a nice day. Quite nasty. I told her oh don’t say that. That new girl is the worst. I had bought stuff there, take it to the counter and it was more than what was on the shelf. They adjusted for me. This day I was told no. Clearly marked sale. Dg got into trouble for that. Was on the news. I walk back in the store 5 minutes later and those girls were holding up 5 or 6 customers in line going on about it. DG drama queens. All I did was ask for an adjustment and they wanted to fight.

I've lived in crittenden for 25 years and see different managers. There's only 1 that was extreme helpful that was Sharon. They need more people. They don't have enough people to stock shelves. Isles are full of clutter and orders on carts. It's gone down hill in the past 2 years. It's a shame. I shop there often.

Joe; clerk at the Crittenden Dollar General, is excellent at customer service. He is always ready to help and is friendly and easy with whom to converse. He makes it a pleasure to visit the store.
