My husband purchased a beautiful half log siding cabin from Lakeside Cabins in Ashland, OH, Jan 2022, who transported it to a temporary location until he prepared the area for permanent location?. In Aug 2022, Platinum/River Country Rentals hired their transporting company Cross State Trucking from Ashland OH to transport our cabin to its permanent location. The pictures describe the damage Cross sState did. When calling the company , Platinum and speaking to their general manager Sam we were given the run around from Aug 2022-March 2023 when he sent an amish crew Kountry Korner Kabins to repair the cabin that was totaled per our contractors estimate and per Kountry Korner Kabins when they came and gave theirs per Sam. However, when they gave Sam the estimate, they low balled it and played off like we didn't desevere a new cabin. Also, they wouldn't pay for the original builder to come look at the cabin or give an estimate. Sam sent Kountry Kabins to our location without notification, and luckily, we have a nosey neighbor who called us 4 hours away and let us know a crew of amish has headed up to our cabin. My husband went to the location to find our cabin with new metal roofing. He assumed by the repairs that things were made right. However, after paying the cabin off and adding an addition, when we pulled off the siding to the roof line, you can see in pics that the cabin wasn't really repaired, just rigged to look like it. I am really let down by Platinum, Sam general manager, Kountry Kabins, for how they treated an on time payee and a cabin supplier who also trusts them. Shame on you Platinum/River Country Rentals. Stay away from rent to own buildings. If you want one, save the money and buy it straight out or build it yourself because Platinum/River Rentals (high interest finance company) is not to be trusted), nor is Cross State Trucking for your moving needs, or Kountry Korner Kabins for your cabin needs . They are not even BBB accredited!!!! I wish I could have given 0 stars because they don't deserve any!!! The original undamaged cabin is one of the pics in a trailer court temporarily .

Called to have shed picked up they won't so whatever happens happens I'm no longer living in the property and do not own the property so pick it up or it's on you

Very poor customer service. Never received statements. And to call the office. Very very rude staff. Will never recommend them to anyone.

The staff is very helpful and understanding their courtesy phone calls as a reminder never feel like they're threatening you or they're not there to help every single worker I've came across has been very informative and understanding of your situation and the quality of their products is outstanding.

I got a used building from them and they are charging me double of what they value the building at. I've been trying to get a door repair / replaced for several months and they keep telling me that someone will call me to set up an appointment to come out and fix it but I haven't gotten the first call from them even though I have called beck several times and they keep saying that someone will call. Ba humbug

They delivered wrong building damaged it wouldt repair or replace building was a complete nightmare with this company ended up in court. Crooks do not rent or buy from them

First of all they were 2 weeks late delivering the building because James sent it to Kentucky instead of TN. They can't figure out my payments and are really ignorant. My bill I get in the mail is also 30 less than what it says online. They lie a lot. The website says they open at 7am. It's 7:27 and I've been hung up on 10 times. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST!!!

Bought a building in October. The building was bigger then they had said. Told them to come and get the building but they lost account for three months. They finally called and said they had found it back in December, I had told them I didn't want it to come and pick it up, It's now January and I've called the corporate office and they have been nothing but unprofessional and rude the lady had said she was the only one in corporate office when I called back a man answered and said the same thing. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Very unprofessional, not only did they lose my file but they are always very rude to their customers. If I could give a - star I definitely would.

This company has been always courteous...even with my multiple late payments. I have dealt with other companies and the late fee is reasonable...and ..really l would buy another building through them. Karen Paulina-Scottsville KY

I purchased a 10 x 20 barn style shed from this company and the shed was great, most of the employees that I spoke to over the phone were competent with there job and accepted payments over the phone on the rare occasion I needed to call them. When I payed off the shed the amount was just over my normal payment amount so I called them and be paid it off. They charged me for a double payment which was $205.00 more than they should have taken. When I called and spoke to the "office manager" he said that the refund was sent to my bank and any delay was there problem. They refuse to tell me the credit card company that they use so I could call and ask then how long it takes them to process a refund. Then I asked to speak to the owner and they refused to even tell me the name of the owner and said that I could not speak to him. This company is great as long as they are taking your money but suck as soon as you are no longer there customer.

My husband did a voluntary surrender back in January 28-29th here it is March 12th. I have called them multiple times to find out when they were coming to get their mold box. The shed is NOT being used and is actually posing a safety risk. Their delivery driver didn't even help set it up correctly he had my husband do it. So we keep getting the run around with the when the ground dries up we will be there. There has been multiple weeks now where there has been good dry days to come get it and now they wont. They never call back like they say they will. So basically our property is now being used to store their shed.... with NO STORAGE payments. Will NEVER deal with this company ever again! Especially due to how many times i have gotten sick from the mold that grew in there due to poor manufacturing. We will be placing a lien for unpaid storage fees.
