Bought a vehicle and within 6 months it was deemed unsafe for the road as the frame was rusted completely through and the break lines rusted a whole through it. Unless you lifted it on a rack you would have noticed the frame and they gave it a clean bill to sell it and put peoples lives in danger. Shame on this company.

False advertising...steer clear. We looked at a new GMC online last week and made the 50 mile trip down to Danville as it showed a nearly $8K discount from MSRP; test drove and sat down with salesmen. They said we read it wrong and it was only with a qualifying trade..but the website showed a -8K discount from MSRP with no other requirements. Going Monday to purchase a new truck from a dealer in Richmond.

Austin and the rest of the team at Bob Allen Motormall are world class. I've purchased new and used vehicles but I've yet to have had a buying experience as transparent, stress-free, and professionally done as this one. These guys have put our local Ram dealerships in Florida to shame.

BEWARE, We were treated like criminals when we arrived to purchase a new $80,000 truck just bc we were looking at the inventory on the lot. Once salesperson arrived, she was hostile and rude bc it was her day off but she still came in to make the sale by choice. My husband was treated with such disrespect, too the point that I had to speak up and tell the lady to stop being rude.

WARNING!! DO NOT buy a used car from this lot. Here is my story. I found a used 2018 Mustang with only 57,263 miles on it on this lot. I had been looking for a mustang with low miles and decided to make the drive to Danville to take a look. As soon as we got there we took the car for a test drive and noticed that the car was jumping when going into any gear from park. The young salesman was very nice and when he noticed we were very hesitant about the car offered for the mechanic at the new car dealership to look at it. I asked if the mechanic could run the car for any codes and just do an overall check since I was now nervous about the integrity of the car, even though it had such low miles. The mechanic then took the car to the new car dealership and we went into town to wait. We waited around in town for a couple hours while they checked the car. I called my brother, who is a mechanic to ask him if he thought I could trust this, and his response was of course you can trust a mechanic, they will look it over for you, especially if it is a dealership. After a couple hours they called us to come back and informed us that the mustang needed the transmission reprogrammed and I asked if there were any codes showing when they scanned it. The salesman's response was no. I then called the local Ford dealership in Danville to confirm that reprogramming a transmission would fix the problem we were seeing and they confirmed. It appeared that the problem we were seeing was a pretty easy fix, a few hundred dollars at the ford dealership to reprogram the transmission. I asked the salesman about what if it were a bigger issue and he actually told us they had sold a fusion to a girl a couple days before and it broke down almost immediately after she bought it and they ended up refunding her. I didn't know how to feel about that, did they sell junk, or did they stand by what they sell?? Regardless, we ended up unfortunately deciding to purchase the car. We made it home about 40 miles and then 3 miles to work the next day and then BOOM the engine light came on! MISFIRE cylinder 2. So I called the dealership. I have the car scanned and what do I find out??? THAT CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAD BEEN CLEARED ON THE LOT BEFORE THEY SOLD IT TO ME!! The manager of the lot denies it, I drive there and discuss it with him until he gets his mechanic on speakerphone who then admits on the phone to clearing the code and putting the car on the lot. The lot manager then says he will fix the car for me. That becomes the biggest joke of all. Their mechanic puts spark plugs in it...I drive it maybe 40 miles and the light is back on and end up at BIll Collins Ford paying $500 to have those aftermarket plugs that were installed incorrectly replaced. So you ask where is the car now??? Where is the Mustang?? IT IS CURRENTLY AT BILL COLLINS FORD AWAITING ENGINE REPAIR!!!!!!! I have yet to drive the car I purchased on July 25th and it is Aug 26th. So if you want a car that actually runs shop anywhere but here. They are deceptive and their mechanics do not even know how to properly install a spark plug.

Austin Crowe is a great salesman. We bought a used truck...paid cash in full. Before we got home we noticed that it had a miss or something going on. Called them a few days later and they had us bring the truck to them. They gave us a different truck to drive while they are fixing ours. Very upstanding company....we bought the truck as is but they made it right. I highly recommend.

We bought a brand new 2022, ram 3500 Dually, we ordered it the way we want it and now the thing is a piece of junk but what makes it worse is that we’ve had the truck not even one year and the particulate filter is messing up we told them we thought it was the sensor because it was jumping all over the place we can get it one time it would say it was half full we get another time it would say zero and then another time it went 100% full in the engine year down or shut down whatever you wanna call it we paid $1700 for them to do a cleaning. My husband is a RV transporter. He has made two complete runs and he is on his third one. He is in Colorado and it’s doing the same thing, we got a letter in the mail yesterday saying that the particulate sensor and module need to be replace Heather at Bob Allen’s tried to tell me that it didn’t have nothing to do with what’s going on with our truck and yeah we told them we thought it was a sensor but they said no that’s not the code. Does anybody over there know how to work on anything without a code are they that naïve to think that that code is always going to be right ? When I explain to her that he was in Colorado, the truck was doing the same thing and shutting down she said he needed to take it to the nearest dealership out there, and that they stood behind their decision on what work they done. And that they would call us whenever they had the parts and could get him in. Then I said the worst thing we ever done was to buy that truck and she hung up on me. Lesson learned never buy nothing from Bob Allen’s and definitely don’t take your vehicle over there to be worked on because those people don’t know what they’re doing. We will find us another dealership.

I talked to the salesman several times and he sent me a walk around. I flew in and the truck Had a service engine soon light on and the steering wheel had a bad vibration. The salesman said the light was a particular filter and the tries were out of balance. I said you knew i was flying in 3 weeks ago, why wasn't it fixed. He had no idea.I talked to the manager and asked, Who sells a truck with lights on and out of balance tires? He said the salesman sent you a video so you should have asked why the light was on hell i would have. I said i couldn't see well because the video was so grainy and showed him. He tried to see it but couldn't. He pulled it up on his website and showed me a picture of the dash with the light and you can see the rpm so its running. I said i didn't see it on your site it was on truecar.com with only 4 pics. I told him that i wasn't buying from a guy off the street and thought you were a reputable lot.The filter is part of the exhaust and is $3500 and the tires shaking. He said well i will just have somebody take you back to the airport and refund you your deposit.Total lack of professionalism. I bought the truck but was not happy. I was stuck.I will NEVER buy from these idiots again. Total sham. WHO SELLS CAR NEEDING WORK BUT SCAMMERS.BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took my car to Bob Allen to get the clutch replaced. Took a week to get the part in, but over a month for them to get it replaced. Heather in Dodge service was very rude when I tried to get updates on when they anticipated to fix my car. When my car was finally fixed, they overcharged me from what I was quoted by almost $1000. Then, found out my battery died because the car was sitting for over a month. You think if they grossly overcharge you and make you wait a ridiculously long time for your car to get fixed, that they would, at the very least, make sure your car would be in perfect working order when you got there. I would highly recommend that you avoid taking for vehicles here to get repaired unless you’re willing to wait and pay WAY too much.

I guess nobody at Bob Allen wants to sell you a car ??♂️ I have went through 3 people just to be completely ignored on phone calls and texts. I shouldn’t have to keep calling to get someone to else to help me. I’m 2 hours away from the lot and cannot just drive there. They will not be getting my money anytime soon unless someone contacts me back today.

"I only gave them a ONE, for services checked off that wasn't performed. ( I had to finish the service when I got home except for the tire rotation in which I am not able physically able to perform.)"WE don't recommend Bob Allen's Service to anyone. They don't seem to care about their customers. My wife ( Who is A Chrysler Retiree)and I recently took her 2021 Jeep Cherokee 80th Addition in for Routine service Oil change filter and rotate tires.I had called and made the appointment for the service and additional to change the cabin filter.{When we arrived at the time, the service desk wanted to know why we were there and I told her that I called and set up the appointment and also a service discount they were offering.}She then ask for the service coupon in which I told that I wasn't told that I had needed one. She became a little upset, but did accommodate one.During the service time I told my wife I was going to parts to purchase the filter, for I felt it wasn't going to happen.Sure enough it didn't, and later discovered that most of the routine check off list wasn't performed.Called left a message with manager, and also explained all in a survey that was sent to me. No response!

Just bought a used Ram from Devlin Deane. He was very laid back and great to deal with. He helped me find what I needed and within my budget. My bank was being difficult with some paperwork and he stepped in and handled it for me. If you’re looking for a used car or truck ask for Devlin. He is great.

I got ripped off at Bob Allen Motormall! I purchased a used truck from them and within a mile of driving it off the lot, the oil pressure dropped to zero and I had to pull over. I returned to the dealership, and they made it very clear they were not going to take any accountability. I agreed to a repair, which took a week and a half and didn't fix anything. Now they want me to sink thousands more into it with no assurance that it will even fix the problem. I have now spent over $14,000 and don't even have a functioning truck. Thinking back on the purchase experience, there is some circumstantial evidence that leads me to believe they knew the truck had issues before they sold it to me. I would advise others to be cautious when considering a purchase from Bob Allen. When they tell you the vehicle you're buying is not eligible for a warranty, assume that to mean they know it has issues, and they're planning to charge you an arm and a leg to repair them.-Update: I took the truck to another dealership, and it turns out the repair I agreed to and paid for at Bob Allen was never done. The other dealer did the repair, and it fixed the problem. I was able to get my money back from Bob Allen for the work they did not actually do.

I just purchased a 2014 Expedition from Bob Allen in Danville. I dealt with Andrew Gearhart and had a great experience. Communication was consistent and the questions I had were answered promptly. They offered me a fair price on my trade in, as well as gave me a fair price on the new ride. The team went above and beyond getting the deal done. I had driven an hour and a half from Louisville and had forgotten my wife’s name only was on the title of the trade in. And she wasn’t with me. I was about to have to go home and return in a few days to get her to sign paperwork. Instead. They offered to have one of their employees follow me home to Louisville just so my wife could sign the papers and I could take the truck home same day. Now that’s GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Especially in todays world. I will definitely looking for my next car at Bob Allen Motor Mall.
