Probably the worst grocery store I have ever been in. Employees are rude. Deli never open. Meat dept. Always empty..

I rarely go to Kroger in Danville, but on this afternoon, I drove up to Danville and picked my cousin up getting out of the hospital. I run into Kroger and bought him some milk and grabbed a couple of chuck roast. ALL OF YOU KNOW WHAT THOSE COST THESE DAYS!!! Well I left one there, getting to bottom line I called back immediately. After talking to two people and them insinuating I was lying, finally someone ask, which line I went through and told me to describe the person. Okay I said it was a black lady approximately my age that limped, I was told I was rude and and I ask how was I rude, and she says you don’t describe someone as black/ white! Excuse me, but would someone tell me the proper way to describe a person if they are black or white? I’m a long way from being racist! I love all people, and am currently supporting one of my Afghanistan friends trip home, as he got caught there in Afghanistan, when the United States pulled out. Some of my dearest friends are Mexican or black. I treat people how they act, not by their color! I’m mad, and the boy that (yes boy) also rude, and did everything but call me a liar and a thief put the call through to what he called the manager, I hope not, or they are in desperate need of leadership. They did find my roast and returned it to the meat department, after all. No apology though! The reason for this long post is, I want to know the proper way to describe a person, when asked, and I ask her this. she says, you definitely don’t do their race first. Well first off my degree in criminal justice tells me when you are giving a description of a person, the race is the first thing you tell, it’s on every application, she had to check the box when she applied, so please tell me the proper way, because I told this girl, that the lady was very helpful, as I had three orders and coupons. I was in no way putting this woman down, she was much nicer, than the manager she works for, if I indeed talked to the manager, which I highly doubt. I know one thing, before I got my degree in criminal justice, I attended KENTUCKY BUSINESS COLLEGE, and I promise Kroger needs to up their game in management department , or they will not be successful in the end.

Did a pickup order and $44 pot of chili was ruined when molded macaroni was dumped in it. Kroger’s manager on duty wouldn’t do anything but replace the $1 boxes of macaroni!!!

Used to be semi-decent. Then they started forcing people to wear masks to receive service. Meanwhile if you have to go to the bathroom, the facilities are disgusting and quite a health concern.

I get that everyone has a right to believe in what they want but when I go into a store I shouldn't be faced with BLM on employees uniforms. Being a business you be less political since you are supposed to be open to all people of every race. I will no longer be shopping at any Kroger or doing any business with them and neither will anyone in my clan.

One of the best Kroger’s I’ve been to. Friendly staff and I found the items on my list easily.
