Danville Starbucks customer service is lacking and let me tell you why. At about 8:56pm I began packing up my things because I knew that the store closes at 9pm. I was given a kind ten-minute warning by a young man at 8:50pm and while I was standing packing my things Dianna also let me know which door to use on my way out. All good at this point. Then, as I am packing up my belongings to leave, the lights in the seating area go completely dark at 8:59pm possible 9 on the dot. This is not non-essential lighting folks. I struggled to even see the rest of my belongings to put them in my bag in the dark. At 9: 02pm as I am walking out of the door, I stopped to mention that it was hard to find my things with the lights so dark and was told that there wasn't anything they could do because it is store policy to turn the lights of at 9pm. I asked, "Did you think it would make me pack up any faster because it made it more difficult to gather my things." The woman replied that it is in her "job description to turn the lights off at exactly 9" and that the store is now closed (It was 9:04 by this point). I said "Of course, I know that. Even now it's only 9:04 or 9:05. I'm just giving you my feedback." And I am the last person to try to keep someone from doing their job. The exchange ended with us wishing each other a good night. My point is that this is not good policy to leave folks in the dark, if it is even Starbucks policy at all to do so (hence my rating). But, I frequently work remotely at Starbucks and many other coffee shops in various cities for a change of environment, and I've never experienced a place going so dark at no more than a second past 9. A warning would be nice. And a quick internet search reveals that it may not be Starbucks policy after all and that individual stores do have some discretion in this. Also, try googling "What is the Starbuck's 10-minute rule."I am giving 2 starts for service instead of one because everyone else I spoke to when placing my order was really nice. For instance, I prefer decaf coffee and the cashier even offered to make me a decaf Americano or to brew a cup of decaf coffee for me if I planned to be in the store for a while.

Overall it was a good experience. It was my first visit at this one particular location. Our order was partially taken correctly. And the person making our drinks appeared to be in a bad mood or mad at what 2 drinks we ordered.

I ordered 3 Large Pink drinks. The drinks are pricy, but my oldest daughter loves them (age 16)!My youngest daughter (age 15) and I decided we’d give them a try for the first time! <3The drink tasted watered down! I asked my oldest daughter : Is it just me or does the drink taste watered down?My oldest daughter stated her drink tasted watered down, too. I’ve ordered her the Pink drink at the Somerset location prior. She stated: It tasted fine at the Somerset location. I asked her: Did it taste different? She stated : Yes! The Pink drink did taste different at the Somerset location! We won’t be returning for any future purchases! No, I don’t want a refund!. No, I don’t want FREE stuff!I just want whatever I’m ordering to be done correctly for what I pay for! i should have good service like everyone else that decides to go to Starbucks!Have a good day!MichellePickett bloodline

This is the first Starbucks I've been to in a long time and I was shocked to see normal looking people working there. I stopped going to Starbucks because every time I would go to one it was like going to the circus there were clowns and freaky looking people working at these places. I know these people that work there and the company are liberal and quite frankly I don't care but to have a guy with make up wearing a dress making my coffee or taking my order gives me the creeps, sorry I just can't help it. Maybe it's because this one was in a small town I don't know but if I'm gonna pay 12 bucks for a cup of coffee I'd much rather go to a coffee shop than a circus. I bet Jerry, Gordon and Zev are spinning in their graves to see how Starbucks has turned out.

Locals seem to love this location but it is by far the slowest location in central Kentucky by far. Every location in Lexington runs circles around this one. Just plain slow.

They prioritize drive through. If you're walking in or have a mobile order prepare to wait more than your average wait for a single beverage.

This has to be the most badly-managed Starbucks I've ever been to. The idea that they constantly close the lobby and offer drive-thru only is indicative of a manager who keeps the store short -staffed. The staff is wonderful, but when you want to purchase an item only offered in the lobby and every time you come by it's drive-thru only.... That is revenue and sales you aren't going to get, because I'll drive to Lexington before I buy anything from this location.

Ordered 2 lattes. Lattes were not hot. Ordered in store and was there to immediately retrieve, so there was not cool down time. Person who took order offered no smile or welcome. You ask for a tip at time of payment, before service or Order is received. Tip is based on experience not prior to experience. I will return to patronage of local vendors.

My husband to Starbucks Drive thru for my birthday which he never wants to do ? maybe bc Starbucks gives you free menu items on your birthday. Get the app great perks !! Our order was perfect, The drive-thru barista was helpful and pleasant,I do believe she loves her job, and although the drive thru was packed the service was quick and accurate.

Highly inefficient - continuous long wait times, constantly out of certain items, drive-thru is awful. It is worth noting that the product itself is a quality product but the time invested for it is not worth it.

Very cool cake pops. That's what keeps us as return customers. That & the nice Frappuccino. Kid-friendliness: Very patient & kind to the entire family.

The best coffee shop in America. They offer a premium roast of coffee sure the fancy the most discriminating taste buds.I didn't rate the food because I only but the coffee there. I leave the food to others to rate, but knowing Starbucks reputation it will be first class. The servers are great and helpful. For those of you that don't drink coffee try thier hot chocolate made with real milk.
