We inquired about a stay, but unfortunately it didn't work out due to an unexpected return home but I wanted to leave a review how helpful, professional and informative staff member Tracey was! She went above and beyond to accommodate and make us feel important to Holiday Hills Resort. We will be rescheduling our stay soon and can't wait to meet Tracey personally! Management pay attention, there should more like her!Noteworthy details: amazing staff

The management here as a saying for you”don’t have anyone that can do it” it took me 3 days to get them to switch out a bad table for a good one because of there saying. Then there is there sewer service , fee pump out, paid for every two days and we’ll they can’t do it becouse of the saying but still charge for it. They do offer a free sewer cart that you can fill but you have to hand drag it to sewer dump as it only has a handle for your hand, but that is not the worst as cart has no covers for holes so everything can run out. As for price they are a little high as for the same type site at KOA in town is cheaper and more to offer my mistake . All most every site is out of level so you need to block your wheel off ground. This is not first time here was hoping it would have been better that in the Summer but I was wrong. If you decide to come here be prepared for everything that can go wrong as they have no one that can help.I would have post pictures but goggle would not let me to showNoteworthy details: Also has camp ground

Great! I'm on site 47. We've been coming here for 18 years. The view from our campsite is wonderful. Bathrooms are clean. Staff is very helpful & friendly. The owner is always around to answer questions & talk to you about anything. We will continue to come back year after year.

The staff were amazing and so helpful. I have to give a shout out especially to Chris in maintenance-we were headed home after our stay, stopped at the office to leave the keys and found out our tire was completely flat…he came by, offered immediately to help and he worked with my great nephew to get the piece of metal out of the tire, patch it, and air it up. That was such a huge help and blessing to us. Thanks to everyone at Holiday Hills.

We have been coming to Holiday Hills for years. Camping, townhouse and this year a lake cabin. Beautiful view, easy access to the lake and fun family activities. All the employees are so helpful and kind. Looking forward to our next

Upon arrival, we couldn't help but notice that the campground appeared somewhat unkept. The overflowing garbage dumpsters, unemptied trash cans, and trash left in fire pits (including cans and other debris) were disappointing. It would have been more enjoyable if the staff had maintained a cleaner environment. They did start to mow on the day we left.Another issue we encountered was the condition of our campsite. Unfortunately, our site was quite unlevel, which made setting up our equipment a bit challenging. The sites are very close together and you share utilities with your neighbor. The campers next to us cut off our water I am sure that was in error but it did cause us inconvenience since my husband was showering at the time. One observation we made is that Holidays Hills RV Resort seems to cater more towards long-term or seasonal campers rather than short-term visitors like ourselves. This may explain why certain aspects of the campground were not as well-maintained as expected. However, it's worth mentioning that there were some redeeming features at this resort. The boating dock provided a pleasant spot for enjoying water activities, while the swimming pool offered a refreshing way to cool off on hot days. Additionally, we appreciated having a general store on-site for any essentials or forgotten items.Another positive finding was indulging in delicious iced coffee lattes from the General Store. They truly hit the spot and added some much-needed enjoyment to our mornings. Holiday Hills has cabins and lodges available to rent for large groups. In conclusion, while Holidays Hills RV Resort has its drawbacks with regards to cleanliness and site maintenance issues, it does offer some amenities that can enhance your camping experience. With improvements in these areas, this resort has potential to provide an even better stay for all types of campers. Please note that this review is based on our personal experience during our visit and may not reflect the overall experience at Holidays Hills RV Resort.Food & drinks: We so loved our low fat low sugar chocolate latte we decided to buy another the next day. Sad to say but they were out of low sugar chocolate syrup. One of us had to settle for caramel

Our family enjoys this place so much! It has quickly become our second home. Lake Barkley is beautiful, the staff is so friendly and accommodating, it’s a pet friendly resort, and the owners Daniel & Danielle are the absolute best people!! My sweet husband and I would 10/10 recommend this place for camping in your camper or renting a townhouse….we’ve done both and thoroughly enjoyed them both.

I never expected such a great experience here and was amazed every day at Holiday Hills Resort. Our extended family of 8 rented the Holiday House and never wanted for anything. The owners and staff were attentive and friendly and we felt like we were all old friends after just a couple of hours here. The Holiday House was well decorated, comfortable, roomy, well thought out and had everything that we needed and more. The boat ramp was perfect for our big pontoon boat and the jet ski dock was perfect for our Sea-Doo. The views are amazing, the lake is awesome and the grounds are breathtaking. There are so many permanent campers here because once you stay here, you never want to leave.Thank you to everyone at the Holiday Hills Resort for the best vacation that I have had in years!

So I am not one to typically post reviews, but I am making an exception today! My family and I just got home from a week long stay at Holiday Hills and my kids are already asking when we can go back! We stayed in one of the townhouses on the property and it was so cute! 2 levels, tons of beds, nice large wood deck off the kitchen in the back overlooking the lake, and a smaller balcony off of one of the bedrooms upstairs...nice and secluded. The atmosphere was very calm and serene during the week, and more busy and lively on the weekends. They bring in food trucks and live entertainment on the weekends and we were not disappointed in any of them during our stay. The main office is stocked with some camping essentials as well as a large array of homemade goods as well. The current owners definitely take pride in their business and we felt like an extended arm of their family during our stay. To say their communication was on point is an understatement. I felt like we were a priority to them our entire visit. We rented a golf cart for our stay and one of their boats for one day. Both were well maintained and gave us zero hassle. Their pool was nice and big and clear and well maintained. Lots of kids to play with, make sure you bring your bikes with, but only if you don't mind hills! The name of the resort definitely lives up to its name! The grounds were kept up nicely, and had I not known a tornado tore through a portion of the campground last year I would never have known. Tons of docks available for you to bring your boat and/or waverunners with. The resort is tucked back in a cove off the main lake and has some great fishing as well, so bring your poles!!! My family and I will 100% be back to Holiday Hills as soon as possible!!!

Most amazing vacation with the grandkids. A campground atmosphere I remember from childhood where new friends were made as well as forever memories. Cannot wait to return with them again.
