These reviews are fake. If you was dying and lived right next door to St Elizabeth you would have a better chance at survival driving to Christ or UC. This place is trash!! Nurses are Good but everything else is lacking.

My mother was in the hospital for 4 days and her potassium was high. Without finding out the cause of it being high they sent her home once it was normal. She was back in the ER 3 days later with it even higher than before and sent her home after 1 bag of fluid. A CT scan was ran as it was ordered before she went to the ER and it showed that she was backed up with poop. She was sent home after 1 bag of fluid and her potassium went from 6.1 to 5.5 and they told her to continue taking Imodium for the diarrhea. 2 days later my mom went to work and almost past out and an ambulance was called. It was requested this time to not go to St Elizabeth at all so they took my mom to Christ Hospital because her heart rate was 38 and her blood pressure was extremely low and her potassium was 6.5Once she got to the ER her heart rate was 30.My mom almost died and had to have temporary dialysis for the damage that the potassium caused to her body.I do not recommend anyone going to St Elizabeth as their care is to put a bandaid on the patient and send them home with the opportunity of being brought right back!

I arrived at the hospital by ambulance. Every nurse and Doctor that cared for me was absolutely amazing! I was admitted and had to get an upper GI Scope. The Endoscopy team could not have been better. Every employee that I came in contact with made me calm and I was at ease. I can't say enough about how wonderful this hospital is.

I have never seen such heartless, mean, hateful nurses and people in my life at this emergency room. You come in and are in so much pain. Sick. And they put you in a room behind their desk and what’s the icing on the cake is when the nurses don’t realize you can hear everything they are saying and they are talking about YOU and how they think you’re lying about being in pain. My mom was treated horribly here and I always did which is why NEVER go here any more. Please do something about talking to the nurses at night who work emergency room about the way they treat patients and stop talking about the patients like a bunch of gossiping high schoolers. You are supposed to have sympathy and not judge people.

The cleaning and sanitation is terrible. Paying on lactase to go to the bathroom. The nurses are cleaning what they can but the ‘cleaning’ crew comes in to check soap and paper towels. The floors are not being sanitized or mopped. They were not happy when I asked if they can mop the floors, and totally did not clean the bathroom floors! Do better St. E

Absolute worst hospital I've ever been to. Would give 0 stars but I don't have that option.

Everyone here really goes out of their way to help make your time here not only painless but as enjoyable as possible. The staff shows empathy, patience and are genuinely just lovely human beings. I spent a few days here and had the pleasure of speaking with people in different departments and every person was nicer than the next. In a profession where it would be so easy to be jaded, grouchy or just too exhausted to do anything beyond your standard duties- everyone I met went above and beyond. An unfortunate circumstance was made significantly better by the people here.

This ER was the worse ER I have ever been to in this tri state. Since I was placed in the hallway for 5 hours I was able to see and hear everything. I over heard my doctor disrespectfully talking about an elderly patients daughter to a young nurse. The nurses were coughing without covering their mouths and never washed their hands. I saw a male nurse sit at a desk eat his chipotle then go into a patients room then come back out sit and eat his chipotle again all without washing hands. Then I saw the same nurse rub his chipotle hands on his pants before taking a patients chart and walking into another room. This place is highly unsanitary. I watched as nurses walked back and forth pass an elderly lady laying in a bed in the same hallway as me almost fall out of her bed a few times her leg was stuck in between the silver railings that are on the bed and everyone that was supposed to and are paid to help just kept walking pass her. It was as if I was watching Scrubs!! The comedy TV show. I went In for heart pains and was there 5 hours just for someone to tell me I must have laid incorrectly or pulled a muscle. My doctor didn’t even talk to me for 1-2 hours even thought she was sitting right in front of me at the nurses station she wouldn’t even give me updates! I had to ask when is someone going to give me any updates in order for anyone to even say a single word to me! I ended up going to Christ hospital for care. I don’t recommend this ER to anyone at all whatsoever and PLEASE do not let your elderly family go here take them over the river!

The cardiac team was absolutely amazing. My fiancé suffered a heart attack on November 12th and was transferred to Edgewood for an open heart. We were both terrified and didn't know what to expect or do. The doctors and nurses eased our worries and made everything as smooth as possible. The nurses on the recovery unit made him smile and laugh many times when he needed it most. The doctors were professional and quick to fix the problem. We both are very grateful for everyone involved in his care and helping him receive the best outcome. He has been doing great now since he has been home for a couple of weeks.

This place is where the Regina George's of the world go for employment! Disgusting behavior out of 98% of the nurses that work here.

My wife was rushed by ambulance to the er with severe chest pains, shortness of breath and numbness in the left arm. The ambulance workers did ekg/ecg and the findings showed possible blockage in the left side. To make sure the worker did the test twice and it was consistent. They did the same test in the er but did not read the test until Saturday after they had sent my wife home with a diagnosis of pleurisy. 4 days later my wife gets a new test result in her my chart, which shows an underlying heart issue. I would most definitely not take anyone to this hospital and it is supposed to be a cardiac hospital. I myself have had heart issues for over 12 years and I have never been treated the way she was treated. Although, I use Christ in Cincinnati and she would have too, but was taken by ambulance to this place because she works in Northern Kentucky. What a joke. I know that after this, something happens to my wife before I can get her seen by people who know what they are doing, I will own Saint Elizabeth in a malpractice law suit.

The doctors in the sicu don’t read patients chart before entering room and just repeats I don’t know the patient also most are dry and have no sympathy for patient family. Nurses during the week in the sicu do things for their own benefit, not for family or patient. Zero respect.

Saw the Dr pretty quickly in the ER but my nurse was pathetic. Dr ordered pain meds, blood work, xrays, cat scan, etc.... everybody dine their job except my nurse. Laid their 2 hours and she couldn't find the time to insert some pain meds in the IV she put in. Pulled off the the things hooked up so could go pee... still no nurse to hook them back up. Finally she came in and said she would get someone cause I requested the IV come out. I was leaving. Waited another 20 minutes... go to walk out wIth the iv still in my arm amd she is sitting at her desk. Threatened to call the police on me... I said have at it. Another nurse took the iv out. St E needs to ensure she only has one patient a night because she damn sure can't handle an anymore
