Was going to help family who flooded in Eastern ky, went on web site to rent 16ft truck, showed up to pick up the truck at home depot in elizabethtown ky and they did not have the truck and was told they had several other coming in to pick up trucks they they did not have on lot, I know mistakes happen but this very unprofessional and when people are depending on you ,you need a company that you can depend on and Penske is not one of those companies, I do not recommend them at all, if it had just been me but there was 3 other people that day came to pick up 16ft or bigger that was not on the lot, I hate this for home depot as well, there the ones having to deal with the irate costumers. This is what I had to use to move a whole house.

Online stated a truck was available, but when I went in Homedepot this was not the case although 3 trucks were in the parking lot.

The Penske rental from the Home Depot in Elizabethtown was a lifesaver! My dad and I had just spent three hours trying to chase down a U-Haul (from E’town to Radcliff, and now directing us to Clarkson) that we had reserved for an E’town pickup two weeks in advance. Exhausted, we pulled into the Home Depot, where the service desk gave us the Penske number. Jackson at Penske was very helpful, matched the Uhaul price, and had us in the perfect Penske truck out of that same Home Depot parking lot within 30 minutes. (Lonnie at the Home Depot service desk was also so kind and helpful).

Showed up at 11 per our reservation and was informed that there were two reservations under my name. We were supposed to get a 26 ft truck and was informed that they were brought a 16 ft.

Yeah, I went in to rent a car hauler for a couple hours and was I formed that I needed to rent a truck to pull it even though I have one that is more than capable of pulling a house down. I asked for a quote, at which time I was given between $800 and $900... I rented one from U-haul for $55 instead.
