Every interaction I’ve had with this company has been bad. First, I bought a lock from them at their kiosk. A few weeks later the lock wouldn’t open. Key went in but it wouldn’t turn. Late spring so weather wasn’t a factor. They wanted to charge me $25 to have someone come out and cut the lock off that I bought from them. I called a friend who did it for free, went to Home Depot and bought a decent lock.A few months later they raised my rent from $67 to $80 for a 5x10 unit.A few more months and I put in my move out notice. They of course sent me a bill for the month AFTER I moved out. Now they’re sending me threatening emails that they’ve locked my unit and added a $10 late fee. Mind you I moved out 3 weeks ago. I’m glad I took a picture of the unit when I moved out because I’m pretty sure they’re going to try to say I left it dirty or something.These people are either shady or incompetent. Maybe both. Either way I would steer clear.

I’ve had my things stored here for a few years now and nothing has mold growing on it or a foul odor that I’ve seen out of it so far. Pricy but all of the storage places are these days.

I've been long time customer of this facility. Back in May or June had problem with overhead door where door spring had broken. Informed and went through process to get it repaired. I was told 3-4 weeks do to repair being outsourced. That was in May 2022 it's now September 16, 2022 still waiting to get door spring fixed. The only movement in this matter is an increase in my rent. At the moment I'm very disappointed in service. I'm called about repair told it was supply chain problem in getting spring even tho it's an outsourced repair ?? Let's just say lm losing confidence in red dot storage Elizabethtown kentucky.

This is a do it yourself storage place with a kiosk for registration. They also have a vending machine for locks. I bought a lock from the vending machine and put it on the door of my unit. Fast forward a few months (3 to be exact) and the lock won't open. The key goes in but it won't turn. Not even a little. No problem. I will call Red Dot and ask for help since I bought the lock from them. They offered to make an appointment for the manager to meet me out there so I could pay him $25 to cut the lock off. $25. To cut the lock off. The lock I bought from them. That's a pretty good scam. Sell defective locks then charge people $25 to cut them off. Brilliant. Not to mention I don't live in Etown anymore and came to town specifically to get something out of the storage unit. Piss poor service all around if you ask me.
