Was just told by a manager that their batteries are only charged enough from the manufacturer partially charged. Only enough charge to test them. That is the dumbest thing I ever heard. If I buy a battery it should be fully charged, unless it’s one you have to put acid in it and then charge it.

The younger staff at Home Depot never looked up from their phones the whole 40 minutes I was there. Those who were older helped customers while the teenagers or those in their twenties did nothing but stand next to inventory or shelves and played/text on their phones. I even walked through the whole store, was assisted by older employees, and came back through after finding what I needed, they were still on their phones. One even stood in the aisle the older employee and I were in and was on his phone the whole time. The older staff were very helpful and polite.

TERRIBLE experience and they were unprofessional and called me a liar because they are supposed to do price match n they refused even though I had information pulled up on my phone. I will NEVER step in that Home Depot after the service I just received.

I gave generally had really good service here in Etown. but I just had to cancel my card with them. Citibank. I pay ahead but due to covid interruption of supply chain I may be laid off. I made min payment for this month, a third of my usual payment. I miss-typed the electronic check. I was 3 dollars short. so I got a 28 dollar late fee. then when I went to pay off my credit card they refused to take a Home Depot gift card as payment. I find this unacceptable . this is a great way to loose their market share. I hope they reevaluated their CC options.

They only ever have self service checkouts when I go. I have yet to be able to purchase what I need because all necessary aisles are blocked off. 3 different clerks were incorrect in an item location so I went to Lowes to get the lumber and weed eater that I needed. The higher prices were worth the excellent customer service.

I placed an order on April 15 for Home Delivery. On April 21st, half the items were dropped off and one item was damaged. After 2 hours on hold, 3 additional phone calls and a rescheduling of the missing items for today, the delivery has still not shown. I called the store yesterday as directed by a voice message I received - as I was told one item was currently out of stock in the color I ordered. I explained that substitution of a different color was acceptable to a very rude associate. No delivery, no return phone call. I understand they are busy - but the basic principle of a business transaction consists of me paying for items (which I have) and then receiving the items (which I have not). This has honestly been the most frustrating experience and the worse customer service I have ever received.
