First time here: 30 mins in the parking lot until our food came out.Second experience: half a scoop of mashed potatoes, no napkins, and a broken cup that leaked mountain dew all over my car.Third experience: NOPE

The green beans were half full. The mashed potatoes were almost full. The worst was the chicken itself, so much grease the box fell apart taking it out of the bag.

One of my favorite food is, and has always been, good fried chicken. When done right, it is the perfect food for lunch, dinner, snacking, picnics, whatever. That said, I am always on the lookout for places that serve good fried chicken. Years ago, Lee's franchise started selling their fried chicken in Falmouth, KY, and I became an instant customer. Of all the many chicken franchises that specialize in fried chicken, Lee's has always been one of my favorites, and I was extremely pleased to see them located in Falmouth. Unfortunately, things have changed, and I am no longer the happy customer I used to be. It seems that, around four years ago, new owners took over the business. Looking back, and I didn't even realize the new ownership until recently, the chicken was rather lacking in flavor. Not the Lee's taste that one would expect, but just bland. However, the last time that I went there, approximately four weeks ago from today, I got the extra crispy chicken. This time, the chicken was so bad that I couldn't eat it. It was beyond bad. Was the chicken crispy? Yeah. Did it taste good? Absolutely not. Not only did it not have any flavor, it actually tasted bad. After I found out that there were new owners (late to find out, I know), I asked around and discovered that I wasn't the only one who had noticed the complete epic fail of this food franchise. To a person, everyone who had sampled this product since the new ownership agreed that the chicken was, to put it mildly, horrible, and they would not return. I should be clear that this is not an indictment against Lee's and the many great franchises out there. This is specifically aimed at the new owners of the Lee's franchise in Falmouth, KY, and the absolute dismal job they have done over the past few years. If you are in the area and are thinking, "Hey, I think I would love to have some good fried chicken.", do not (and I cannot stress this enough) consider Lee's in Falmouth. To say you would be disappointed would be a huge understatement. I have never thrown away fresh fried chicken, but I did this last time. And for me, that truly was the last time. Hopefully these new owners, who are Indian, will get a clue and fix what is wrong. I don't hold out much hope for that. I believe the only fix will be when they eventually go out of business and new ownership takes over. Then, and only then, will I give this place another chance. I have lived in this community over 32 years, and have seen lots of restaurants open and close. But, for an established franchise like Lee's to be so bad, it boggles the mind. I can't imagine how they could be so bad without doing it deliberately. My guess is that the management just doesn't care enough to know what is going on. Quite the pity, as I still love fried chicken. Just now, though, I know where NOT to go. Sorry to be so blunt, but hopefully this review will help someone to not waste their money.

Didn't have a great experience here. I ordered sweet tea and was given unsweetened tea. I ordered chicken strips and was served drumsticks.

The chicken was dry and sat under a heat lamp for a longtime. Won’t be back.

This place has gone down hill. The food used to be good and you could trust the cleanliness now I'm not sure. Food sits for hours way past its shelf life and is nasty and dry
