Have shopped here for years but the last year or so the place has went down hill as far as employees. We went in today and had stuff for supper and meds for my mom and they accused my sons girlfriend of stealing a $1 bonnet. I was very upset because that child would never take anything. Then she tried to tell her to put it in the cart. The stuff in the cart was my stuff and the bonnet was hers. The ladies name was Kim. She was very rude and usually is so every time you go in there. So I left that store and took my business to the dollar store on the hill. They lost a $70 sale for accusing her of stealing a $1 bonnet! I will never shop there again. I will warn as many people as I can over that store and that employee!

The boss there is a hypocrite will say 1 thing to your face and different to someone else and she treats her employees like garbage. Doesn't care about anyone but herself. When working there I got wrote up for something I didn't do. I called corporate cause she was taking me off for a week because I apparently had an attitude. Nothing got done because the current boss Jenny Riley and the district manager are best friends and after calling corporate she found every way to try to fire me or make me quit. She knew I had bad anxiety and depression but didn't care and brought me down to my lowest point. Because I called corporate she took my hours away and only gave me 1 day a week for 5 hours. Worst place to work and would not recommend anybody to work for this boss. Puts the blame on everyone else. After I quit came in as a customer and was being nice and got out of the car and said hello to the bosses husband and with an attitude tells me I'm in the wrong neck of the woods and get dirty looks when I go in the store. This place is a very hostile environment with that boss. Dollar general really needs to care about their employees and their physical and mental health and do better.

A lot of different things to purchase! But the employee's picking and choosing between them all some were very nice and friendly! But there were a couple who were down right rude, mean, negative- and outright hateful I personally don't know if I even want to go back in there again!! Just don't really feel comfortable enough!!
