This has been a total disaster for me. The internet has not worked well and altafiber is artfully fraudulent when it comes to billing. Increasing the billing amount on a monthly basis for no reason at all. My internet has been slower and spotty since the installation of fiberoptics.

The representative was very courteous and the transaction was smooth. However my bank card was compromised and after four years of paying on time through the automated service, I had called and asked for an extension, until the new card arrived. The customer service representative said no I couldn't and had to go to a store and pay my bill. With me being handicapped this made me feel uncomfortable because I didn't know where the store was located exactly, and it's hard to walk around the mall area when it's so busy with traffic, it makes me nervous!

Said my wifi would be here by 5pm. Been waiting over 40 minutes and nothing. People could get fired for this when they work from home. Then there'd be no money to pay you ?

AltaFiber removed funds from my checking account for service at a property that I was unassociated with. I also was not doing business with AltaFiber at the time.I requested a refund and they promised 7-10 business days via check. I have called back every week for the last 10 weeks and they continue to say the same thing. “Please allow 7-10 business days and call back next week if you haven’t received it.”No tracking on the mail, no option to initiate a direct refund to the account from which they stole from, and not even an option to pick up this “check” in person. They have no contingency plan or escalation process other than “we are sorry, please call back next week.” This is theft - plain and simple, and if the tables were turned, they would get their money. By this standard, I expect to be trying to get my money returned to me for the rest of my life.Organized crime.

My grandmother paid her bill and scheduled her account to be closed (because she's moving) with the easiest experience, and there was no line when we arrived. The man helping us was friendly and knew all the answers and even brought out a kit of all the equipment we needed to return as an example. It was a quick and painless visit. The store is also very clean and maybe newly remodeled. Lots of cameras inside. Looked like you could buy or lease equipment here (e.g. remotes, Google home, security cameras, speaker systems).

I have called them since last Nov.. when they installed on our street even stopped in the store. Our tower is still not buried just laying on top of the ground.

Everyone in the store was super helpful! They were able to get my set up and scheduled an appointment for the technician to install the fiber two days later.The technician who came to install the fiber was very nice and answered all my questions. He even took my suggestions on where to run the cable.The sub-contractor who buried my cable did an excellent job. They came the next day and buried the fiber line in my yard. You can't even tell where the cable is. 10/10 experience.
