Steve, the guy that works there was really kind and helpful. That the car I purchased, only had it for maybe 4 weeks. Then the transmission went out. It was a used car the garage, said it was not worth fixing it. I was not able to get another car because that when it was in my name, I had to get a lawyer, to get out of the payment situation. do not buy a car from here

We had an ok purchase experience here. Steve was pretty friendly and patient. The car turned out to have a ton of rust which both the dealer and the nearby mechanic we took it to failed to mention. We will not buy a car from them again. Additionally they have continued to reach out to me endlessly and even told me they had the car we purchased still in stock and available a week later. I initially posted a positive review but their continued harassment made me come back and change it.

If you are looking for a car, do not hesitate to go to Marshall Motors of Florence. I am very skeptical in the first place of car sales person's. Did not want to be pushed into just any car, and Steve learned real quick what I was looking for and what I would be interested in buying. Steve listened to me and made me feel very comfortable in searching for the right car for me. He even advised me not to make a quick decision and that he would find me the car that I would be happy and content to purchase. Steve went out of his way to get a car that I am totally pleased with, and I love my new car. I'm very happy that I stopped at Marshall Motors of Florence and met Steve. THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH STEVE!

Steve and Hayden, I could just go on and on about these two gentlemen. And yes, gentlemen. They explained things without “Mansplaining” them. They always made sure I was comfortable during the whole process. Whether it be sparking up a new conversation about fidget toys, or feeding me pretzels because ironically I hadn’t eaten, and Steve and his fatherly instincts knew I was hungry.
This dealership is not only a car place, but it’s a car place for all people. These folks know how to take care of you, and let me tell you… customer service???? THROUGH THE ROOF. If you need a car, they won’t stop until they get you one. Literal blood, sweat, and tears. They didn’t stop until I had a car and I will forever be thankful to these guys for getting me back on the road. Steve, Hayden, thank you from the very core of my heart. Great experience purchasing a car for a fair price. Steve made the process easy and was very helpful! I needed a new weather strip and he made sure to promptly get it replaced without any extra expense or issues.

Had a great experience at Marshall Motors in Florence on Dixie! Steve is a really nice guy, very easy to talk to. He already had the CarFax printed and ready for the vehicle we came to see, even worked with us a little on the advertised price.

Steve Ruth was awesome to work with! Super nice guy and with not good but not bad credit he made it work for me and got me out of my old chevy and into a beautiful 2020 hyundai sonata! Absolutely in love with it and the whole carbuying experience was easy with Steve! Highly recommended and would totally buy from there again.

Update!!! The TEMP TAG HASNT EVEN EXPIRED YET !!!!quit my day job and purchased this van and went into business for myself. I didn’t even have the van 45 days in the engine went out. The temporary tag is still valid on it. I know I bought a used vehicle for $4500 but it should’ve lasted longer Than 30 days I got an oil change on it . I found a motor for $600 can I get a reimbursement of that ? … there’s no way that Chevy express with a 4.8 ls motor went out that quick they normally go a couple hundred thousand miles . It has like 150k miles on it men no way

Marshall Motors gets it done! This is our second vehicle purchase with the team here, both times after other dealerships said they couldn't get us the kind of quality vehicle we wanted for our budget and credit requirements. I'll never make the mistake of going anywhere else again.

I bought a 2007 Nissan XTerra from here in January 2024, I purposefully waited a few months to leave my review because if I did in the first 2 weeks it would have been wonderful. But Steve from Marshall Motors, while knowing I had small children, sold me a complete lemon, completely rusted frame with multiple spots of JB welding and specifically with defective BRAKES. I can let a lot of things slide on a car but not brakes, with children under 3!!! The entire brake line is rusted, I will say I had a cheap budget so I didn’t expect a WONDERFUL car but a semi safe one at the very least. His shop (All Star Mechanic) did a horrid welding job on my engine from tightening something too hard as well as a botched repair on my rusted brake line to sell. When my car started rapidly breaking down and I called that same mechanic shop 3 days in a row I was told each time to “try again tomorrow” because they know VERY well what’s wrong with it and they don’t want to face it. Be VERY cautious when buying and keep in mind these are car salesman who don’t give any mind to your safety at the end of the day:)
