Poor selection of cd players which is what I wanted. Store was neat and clean. Restrooms were clean and well supplied. Friendly staff.

Great place but the cart corrals are a mess. The difference between small and large isn’t as obvious as Kroger carts so people mess up where to put them in the parking lot. Someone put a small cart in the aisle labeled large, so i also put my small cart there so the employees wouldn’t have to separate them later on. Apparently that wasn’t the right thing to do because one of the cart corral guys said i put it in the wrong aisle. I told him there was already one there and he just shook his head at me as he came over to fix it. Pretty sure it was the same guy who complained to the person i was shopping with about people putting carts in the wrong place after i put a cart away in a corral that was already severely messed up by other people. If there’s a small cart in one aisle and a large in the other then why would i put the small cart against the large and mess it up even further? Because technically it’s supposed to go in the other aisle? You’re just going to have to separate it an extra time if i put it there. What exactly do you want me to do? If the corral is empty i always put the cart where it’s supposed to go. Maybe just have one size cart or get new ones that are more obviously different if it’s that frustrating. Not my fault other people mess it up

I love ordering birthday cakes from the bakery at the Florence Meijer. The staff is very friendly and helpful when ordering and I've never been disappointed with a cake. We sometimes order cake designs from the book but we've also given them themes and told them to be creative. The results are always cute. ?

I was waiting in line , only one checkout line was open. I was talking to the people in front and behind me. Had been waiting around 15 minutes when another working came to open up the line 2 registers down. I asked if she was opening. She said yes come on over. There were several people behind me in line. One of the people at the end of the line tried to cut in front of me. I said I have been waiting long time and I was in line first before you. She didn't care and shoved me. Her elderly mother speaking Spanish was saying mijo no. She continues to push me. I yelled at her to get her hands off me. She called me a child. I have gray hair!!! The security came over and stood between her and me. And she was still aggressive. I checked out and a manager walked beside me as I walked out. He asked if I was okay. I told him no I am not. I was being assaulted!!! Another customer was telling them that I was right and the crazy woman was attacking me!!!! What is wrong with people?????

I'm giving this place 5 stars. I've never been to a Meijer before and this place blew my mind! I heard from one of the employees that this location has been recently renovated. Everything looks clean and brand new. The aisles are absolutely packed full of product. They have a broader selection of items than what you'd find in a typical Walmart. Take a look at my pictures and see how big some of the product sections are. You won't find this at a Walmart or Target. Plus those other chains are part of the Eyes Wide Shut crowd if you know what I mean. I hope Meijer is not one of them too. Wikipedia has an interesting summary of this chain. Apparently they are the pioneers of the supercenter and Walmart and Target copied them. They're primarily located in the Midwest. I think it would be great if they continued expanding further West. We need more shopping options and competition in the supercenter space. Why should we have to only spend our dollars at one of the Eyes Wide Shut monopoly chains?

One of the better superstores in the area. They do a great job of keeping it clean. They have such a wide variety of things. It's almost like a higher-end Walmart. The sales they run are also amazing. If you decide to shop here, download and use their m perks for amazing rewards.

They're open until midnight (12:00am) so it's definitely convenient since everything else closes so early now. They have a great selection of merchandise and pretty great savings, especially if you're an mperks member. I'm here at least 3 times a week.

Great store love the variety of things they offer. We bought a dozen different donuts for an events they were beautiful but easily the worst we've ever had would shop at the store again minus the donuts

My main complaint about Meijer has always been that the grocery side of the store has always been slightly more expensive and had less variety of items than their main competitor. Apparently they feel this way too, because I have seen this improve over time. At one time I think they may have been known for having very fresh produce, and I will say that the store in Oakley doesn't always live up to this. Their deli also relabels and sells out of date, pre sliced meat so buyer beware. If you have to wait for a deli attendant to appear, and you will, trust me it's worth the wait to know your items weren't sliced a week ago.

I would rather shop here than Walmart any day. The store is much cleaner and the staff is much friendlier. The door greeter is actually a DOOR GREETER and not a "receipt checker". The selection of goods is nice and the layout of the store is pretty good as well. Oh, almost forgot, the carts here aren't all beat to you know what either. ? Went for some basic necessities and found everything we needed at decent prices.

Wow. Has everything that Walmart has but a step up in quality, layout and customer experience. Even a spacious book and magazine aisle. I loaded up on fruit and vegetables to munch on in the car.I should get out of NYC more. This is "out there" in America and I'm always surprised me how nice it is. Our quality of life is good, thanks in part to places like this.

Our first time at Meijer and we loved it. Spacious, uncluttered aisles that were well stocked and neat. Friendly employees + CLEAN store. Definitely a refreshing alternative for this area!!

I normally love Meijer. It's a good priced super store. I was disappointed with the boys clothing selection. They didn't have khaki pants. It's not a clothing store, but it was disappointing to have to go to another store for that need.

Nice and clean! No doubt, the best beef in town! We have never had bad quality beef here. A nice selection of cuts and styles too!
