The person working Sunday 9/28 at 2pm was unkind and unhelpful. UPS shipped my package to this store and she was unwilling to look up the tracking number and release the package to me. She simply said “I don’t work for UPS, I work for the UPS store. I don’t care what you say.” I saw the package behind the counter and she was still unwilling to give it to me.

Ridiculously expensive. They charged me 90 dollars to ship two REGULAR sized packages that were not heavy. Go elsewhere.
Before the owner comes back and saying I had a choice...not really. Everything else was closed. I needed to send these goods immediately. I would like just a partial refund for this ridiculous upcharge on two packages that weighed at most 2 pounds together and smaller than shoeboxes, and will be calling support immediately. If that doesn't work, I will do a charge back on the credit card. You are a franchise so you're overcharging 100 percent.
The only plus was that the staff was friendly. That's it.

I came here to ship live tropical fish. I dropped the first box off but was told they don’t take in live fish, but they shipped it anyways. I called my shipper, and they called the store and said it was OK. I then shipped out another 2-4 boxes without issue. I then came back to drop off another box of fish and while waiting in line with several people in front of me, the lady spoke over the customer she was helping as well as other customers ahead of me and said we can’t take your fish, even though they have been. I live in Union, so this place is about 10 minutes away. They told me I need to take my packages all the way to Buttermilk Crossing, another 18 minutes away from this UPS store. What difference does it make where I drop off my box? The box is sealed, labels on all sides, UPS label right on top, all they have to do is pick up the box from the scale, move it to the back of the room with the other boxes and wait for the UPS drivers to come pick up, that’s all that happens. The same exact thing happens at the Buttermilk Crossing store. They give no explanation as to why, only that each place is a Franchise and the owners can decide what they can take. That’s not a reason not to take in fish. This store can make more money if they take in animals such as fish, reptiles, etc. that are already boxed and ready to go, the employees have to do absolutely nothing with these boxes but wait for the driver to pick up a few times a day. No wonder this place has such low ratings.

Lack of care and no warning about preference of boxes. Said boxes marked fragile travel same belt with all others. Told not to expect refund or insurance claim

My visit today was worth writing a review!
We are currently visiting from out of town and purchased two handmade guitars. We stopped in today to get those shipped back home for us and Jessi took such good care of us! She was kind, informative and reassured us she was going to take good care of us. I BELIEVE HER!!

It’s pretty bad when a UPS store has bad ratings. Be very careful when you enter the store sadly, there are some very grumpy employees. It shouldn’t be that hard of a job and it definitely should be people who enjoy being around other people in this world. I had an Amazon return. I normally do them at Kohl’s, where I am treated very well today. I did a return at this location. I put my shipping box in the garbage can and wow did that make someone mad. They do not want anyone to put trash in the garbage can it was not food. It was not anything to make a mess. So be careful at this store. Hopefully, the issues will be addressed by the management because I will be back in the store and I’m sorry. I will put some trash in the trash can. If you do not want customers to use the trashcan, you might not wanna have a trashcan

The customer service at the UPS store in Florence Kentucky is absolutely wonderful. The last time I was in there to send a gift, it was unwrapped and I needed help. The people were so helpful and they explained exactly what they were going to do to get it shipped safely. I am always pleased when I go into the store.
