My four-man crew; Dayshawn, James, Dontae, and Johnathan handled a two-bedroom plus garage move and were professional, efficient, and careful with my belongings. They communicated well throughout the day and went above and beyond to make a stressful move much easier. One tip: make sure to get an in-person quote (Erick) so the crew size and estimate match what you actually need; my move was upgraded from a three-man to a four-man crew. I would absolutely use this company again and recommend this crew in particular.”

“Our experience with Markesberry could not have gone better!!! From setting up the arrangements with Rhett on the phone to the 3 great guys he assigned to move our stuff, everything went perfectly. Ron, Adam and Mark showed up 15 mns early and went right to work. We only had them move the large furniture. They padded and banded every item, took excellent care while loading and unloading and were finished in 2 hrs! They were polite, friendly and professional. “I cannot say enough about this moving company! Their Lead man, Randy is absolutely amazing. He’s been with them for 30 years. You can’t say that anymore in today’s world. He and his team have moved us twice and also helped us move furniture when our basement flooded. “Had a very good experience with my move using H. Johnson Moving. They guys were right on time as promised and they were very courteous and fast with carting things to the final destination. I wasn't moving very far and they told me the duration should fall within their two hour minimum and surely enough it did. My movers were rock stars - I was amazed at how quickly they got things done and had no damaged items upon unpacking. I would definitely use them again, no question!”

“Marksberry Allied was helpful in narrowing our delivery window and working efficiently to pack our home. Four stars because they were shorthanded on delivery, but the two men they had working (Chris and Cole) worked hard, were kind and personable, and worked VERY hard despite the challenges of the day. A few items arrived damaged (company packed, not customer packed) and items were not always clearly grouped with their respective rooms, making it hard to find some things (i.e. a TV packed in a box labeled "bedding"; clothing not packed in wardrobe boxes with other clothing from the same closet, but packed with bedding from a different room), but some of this seems like just the process of moving. I appreciated how communicative Rhett was, and how he was willing to go the extra mile to make this move happen when another company quoted us a 2 week delivery window. All things considered, I would recommend them to family or friends, as none of the issues we encountered were likely any different than would occur with another company.”

“Called Lou at the last minute needing a mover. He and his crew came out earlier than promise and was able to get the job done within several hours. I've used other local moving company and have been unhappy but not with A-1 Veteran's. They were profession, furniture arrived without any damages, boxes placed where I needed, and they even help us place a large room down in my living room. Other moving company employee would take smoke breaks but Lou's crew never took a single break, not even for lunch. I highly recommend Lou and his company.”
