I don’t recommend ANYONE TO RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Do not give these people an application fee there homes are listed 60 days for a reason they’re stealing peoples money .When people are looking for housing and told you don’t base your decision on credit history 50 per adult app fee trust me they do my husband has a 610 score not good but not horrible.Has been on time paying a credit line for 18 months and they still didn’t rent us the house. We have no criminal background and make almost 4 times the rent.Don’t let them steal your money like they did ours.

We’ve rented with Legacy for nearly two years. The first year, maintenance requests were handled fairly promptly. Within the past year, however, getting anything done has been like pulling teeth. The laminate has been pulling apart since we moved in, and Savannah said she’d have flooring people come out. They did, only to inform us that the laminate couldn’t be repaired and would have to be replaced. When the laminate further deteriorated within the past year, I sent Savannah pictures to document the poor state, and she said she’d have a flooring company come out; they never did. Our gutters in the back yard drain into the yard—they would fail a home inspection. Our yard is pure mud that the dogs track into the house all day, every day. I’ve emailed Savannah twice and my husband has called twice—not a single response. The bathroom fan has been broken for months; I’ve sent Savannah videos. Her response, months ago, was that they were short-staffed. Last year, I told her that the basement drain was backed up. It wasn’t until the laundry room literally flooded that a maintenance person came out—and who had to clean up after the flood? Me. Our rent is paid on time every month, and we take good care of the house. The fact that Savannah won’t take care of basic maintenance requests is so glaringly unprofessional and inhumane. Legacy happily takes our money, but they sure as heck don’t care about maintenance.UPDATE: I spoke with Savannah on the phone this morning. Now I've been informed that the laminate that Legacy had poorly installed will not be replaced while the house is occupied--so we're stuck with it, even though we didn't have anything to do with putting it in or its deterioration. Moreover, someone marked our bathroom fan work order completed even though the fan is still broken, and the same abusive roofer who came out to install the misplaced downspouts might return: "We use who we use." Not a single apology for anything. Zero communication and zero compassion.09/2022 Update: We're now being charged for having a plumber come out because the downstairs drain for the furnace/water heater needed sulphur yet again. Savannah left the company, so now we're dealing with Amber; Brian, the VP (according to the internet), emailed us accidentally, and Ross, the owner, is MIA, as usual. In 14 years of renting, I've never, ever experienced anything as surreal as this, from the unscrupulous charges to the bizarre passive-aggressive communications.

Unable to issue negative stars, my rating will be, -10 stars.Undoubtably the worst experience with a property management company, I have ever experienced. They maintain "Banker Hours", and do not want people who actually work for a living to partake of their products. They only show properties on weekdays only, from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM!! So, if you wish to view one of their "Rehabbed Crack Houses", you must take time off of work and lose income to meet with these "Stunt-Doubles". Very poor concept in business practices. I suggest you stay far away from this joke of a management company. If they are this unwilling to show a property, just imagine if you have a maintenance issue, after hours! No thanks.

The WORST third rate, third party management company in the Tri-State area. Incompetent, unprofessional and uneducated mismanagement team to go along with greedy owners who will raise your rates and nickel and dime you as much as they can get away with. I would NEVER spend a dime of my hard earned money to support this company and their practices. They could care less about you but they want your money ? BEWARE!

DONT rent from these RATS. They will eat your security deposit and charge you thousands for minor things.

You bought a home and put a single mother of four out on the streets for the holidays after six years in good standing. I hope that none of your families ever have to experience this.

Called and asked the status on an issue that they are supposed to take care of per our contract and Savannah bluntly said they will not honor their side of the contract.

Mainly two stars for the most important reason: money. I figured this would happen, however I am still shocked it did. Never missed a payment and always paid on time. The security deposit was almost cut completely down due to reasons that were there when we moved in. House was not in good shape, old and outdated which forced us to repair because we knew they would blame us. A fence was damaged when we moved in and it’s only about a $100 Max fix at best but they charged us $400 dollars for a fix. We have no way to prove that it wasn’t but we had to cover the hole for my dog anyway and we weren’t going to fix anymore. I will say they do get necessary stuff fixed quick(a door we got charged for was clearly not one of them). Our AC was old and outdated and didn’t work. Took 4 visits by specialist for them to finally listen and replace the AC and after the new was installed, it worked great. In terms of management, usually pretty friendly and easy to work with. But value for money is definitely not worth it if you are tight and worried about money.

I haven’t even moved in yet. They called on 8/1 with a bad attitude asking why we hadn’t showed up to get our keys or pay our rent. Our move in date is 8/15 per our lease which they could’ve easily looked at or added to their calendar. We had to sign a lease without looking at the place. When we finally asked to come see it when they told us it was move in ready there was a huge hole where the dryer vent hook up is, the collar for the shower head was hanging down on one of the showers and one of the door jams had been repaired with a paint stick and painted over. Being a locksmith I wanted to change my own mailbox lock because I’ve done hundreds. After I said ok when they told me the post office needed to do it and turned to walk out I received smart aleck “bye”. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt with their google review because people usually write them more when something bad has happened. Looks like I was wrong and this will be one of many poor reviews.

I have been with legacy now for about four years, and its been very positive. Savannah has been a tremendous part of it because she is very down to earth, knows what she is taking about and will help to resolve the issue at hand.

My fiancé recently moved to the area and decided on a home that was managed by this group. I’ve dealt with Savannah and Kylie and honestly, I couldn’t be happier. We had some issues in the house (as you will in any home), and the response to all of our issues are not only met but exceeded. We had a few boards rot out on our deck, they replaced the entire deck. Our heat went out, they had someone there immediately to fix and when the fix didn’t work, I got a call saying the entire HVAC was being replaced. We have been shocked at how quickly and professionally everything has been handled! It’s honestly been the best experience we’ve ever had in renting, and we move A LOT for work. This is by far one of the best management companies we’ve ever dealt with!

DO NOT CONSIDER WORKING WITH THESE PEOPLE. I would consider myself and my roommate as the ideal renter. My roommate and I always paid on time, and we always paid our utilities on time. My roommate and I did everything they had asked for by the book before we left. We had the carpets professionally shampooed for $110 as instructed by management with a receipt provided. (so we could guarantee our security deposit), had the apartment cleaned, Everything was moved out, we gave 2 months notice that we were leaving etc. Two weeks after we had moved out we get a letter in them mail stating all of the charges that were deducted from the security deposit. We had been charged a $100 for a general cleaning fee.$30 for an oven cleaning fee, and another $30 for a refrigerator cleaning fee (keep in mind it’s not even a full size fridge). And then another $225.00 for a door replacement. I immediately contacted management and asked what door needed replaced. They had told me that my roommate and I had tried to plaster over a hole on one of the sliding closet doors so they had to replace the whole door. 1. Myself nor my roommate have ever plastered in the apartment nor outside of the apartment, or even tried. 2. What sliding closet door costs $225.00? I had even told management that if they legitimately did 160.00 in cleaning after I paid $110 to have the carpets shampooed as well as swept and moped the floors 2 times then that was fine they can keep the $160.00 for the cleaning that maybe took 30 minutes if they did the oven and fridge but there is no way I’m paying 225.00 for something that we did not do. I have continually contacted management regarding the situation to work this out but they are no longer replying.Earlier in the year I had my car towed from this facility on two separate occasions as a resident because there were not enough parking spaces available for residents. I missed a day of work because of this.i had no idea where my car was the next morning. I had to call 5 different towing company’s that morning to see who had it as well as get a ride from my home to the facility. I called management after the first time this happened to let them know the situation on why I had to park where I did, due to the parking issue.I asked where I needed to park next time to prevent this and I tried to get my $130 Back for what I had to pay the towing company, but they essentially told me tough luck. So I sucked it up and took the loss. The next time the parking lot was full I parked where management had told me to park. My car was then again gone the next morning, On a Sunday. The towing company was office was closed by the time I realized my car was missing. It took me a full day to get my car back because There was only one driver working and he was out in Indiana and wouldn’t be back until later that day to open the gate. I then proceeded to pay them another $130 to get my car back. This was my buddy’s Andrews problem, will never rent.
