So disappointed that Amerigas bought out the local supplier for our cabin. Thanks to their incompetence w delivery we have completely run out of propane and if you call they won't give you a delivery day or time. We had a situation that needed help beyond what the folks who answer the phones could address and twice they put me on hold to "escalate" the problem to someone higher up although they wouldn't tell me who I would be speaking with and both times the line went dead after being on hold for 10-15 min. Worst customer service I've had with any company in many years.

I ordered my gas December 8th and it was supposed to arrive by the 15th. It never came and was rescheduled several times until we finally ran out of propane overnight on Wednesday the 21st. I called all day to let them know we were getting lots of ice, snow, and negative temperatures the next day, our baby was sick and we needed our heat working. Plus, I told them we live down a very big hill and they would not be able to get their truck down here for at least a week after this weather came in. They told me different things every time I called, ranging from promising it would show up by 5, telling me they were on their way, and then that they wouldn't be able to make it until the next day. The ice, snow, and negative temperatures came that night and we were still without heat, it got down to 32 degrees in our house and our pipes froze. Luckily, a very nice delivery driver decided to try to come down on Christmas Eve, Saturday the 24th, so that at least we would have heat for Christmas. The truck got stuck, just like I told the call center that it would, but at least thanks to our delivery driver, Bryan, we now have heat. It's almost a week later and the truck is still stuck in our yard. It has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We are leaving Amerigas for a local company and telling everyone we know.

Order gas ANYWHERE except here! Worst customer service ever! And not ONE single customer service worker knows English! I've called 5 times to cancel my order with NO success! Just horrible experience!!!

Would never recommend this company to anyone ever. I order propane every year in January and September. I called for a fill up at the beginning of September. For 20 years my purchase history shows I usually get 300 +/- gallons to fill up. My delivery was 35 gallons. When I called to express that it was impossible I only used 35 gallons during the coldest time of the year, I got nothing but the run around from them. My call log showed I have made a total of 31 calls from September 4th to November 19th. I was told 3 weeks ago that I needed to have my 500 gallon tank replaced, which is a buried tank btw. They said it would be at no cost to me. I have been rescheduled 3 times for that to be completed and no one ever showed up or called me. Now I'm told they would be here Monday to complete the order. Oh, I forgot to mention that I ran out of propane last Thursday (and I had stated my concern about that 3 weeks ago) and this morning it was 17 degrees out. I have a small space heater in my heater and 4 blankets on my bed. All I ever heard them say was their canned speech of how sorry they are but I felt I couldn't get these idiots to wake up and take the situation seriously! You may ask why don't I go with another company but Amerigas holds me hostage. I cannot go to another company. Long story in that one but believe me I have tried everything. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!

Worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. If you have another option use them. Anything is better. They overcharge you. They don't deliver when they ever say they will. They don't deliver what you requested them to. They won't help you on the phone. Horrible worst company ever.

Propane tank was here when I bought my house back in 2016. Since 2017 I have been trying to get them to come pick it up with no luck. Last 2 requests were made in June of this year and a few weeks ago. Was told that since they didn't come within 30 days after my June phone call they were going to expedite it. Still waiting... Avoid this company at all costs. They don't care about their customers and are in no hurry for anything. I mean, 4 years and counting here...

45 calls throughout the winter to get our tank filled. Countless emails and social media posts. Finally gave us the tank complete with a bill of sale. 5 months later came and stole the tank out of our yard when nobody was home. Took 3 weeks with several emails, phone calls, and the sheriffs department to get our tank back.Couldn't fill the tank during the winter but could steal and replace it during the summer just fine though.

Was told they would deliver a new propane tank in 4-6 weeks. The delivery driver, Ron, apparently did not want to deal with me as every time I called for an update his truck was ‘broken’. Even though his truck was ‘broken’ I saw him multiple times driving around delivering propane tanks to other customers. 5 months later I ended up canceling everything. Now I’m out the $69 survey fee which I was told they would refund. Will never deal with this company again.

Awful company! I purchased a tank of gas from this company last year and when they delivered the gas, they only filled it up about 20% of the way. The delivery guy promised he'd be back to fill the rest up. He never returned. Spent over 500$ on gas and only received a fraction of what I paid for. Unfortunately, I had lost my receipt. I am writing this review today because the company has since billed me for a rental fee for the tank that was here when I started renting the home. I spoke to them about my situation. They will be picking up the empty tank as i'm not going to be doing business with this company.

One star for nice but entirely useless customer service agents. This company has grown too large and is not capable of handling their markets. Do not lock yourself in with AmeriGas - purchase your own tank and then you can purchase propane from other vendors.Terrible service. So terrible. I drove to a house 45 minutes away to meet them for a pressure test on our 5% tank level (thanks for waiting until the last day of our window). I have been waiting for 5 hours since they were "on the way" but then proceeded to go to a completely different city. They gave updates when we called through the morning, but none were accurate. Intentional lies? You tell me.So I have to wait for delivery and be here in person for the pressure test...or risk frozen pipes.AmeriGas - Thank you for holding me hostage in my car (since the house is 45°F I can't really sit in there) and giving me the time to write a review. Thank you for nothing else.

I spent over half an hour trying to order just 27 gallons of gas from these people for a tank buried in my side yard to service a small fireplace only. It had been 2 years since I ordered from them and I was told the gas would be $117.90 and there would be a $200 expedited charge for delivery within 72 hours and also a $140 charge for a safety assurance check before putting the gas in. That's $457.90 for 27 gallons ($16.96 per gal). I think not. Worse customer service company I have ever dealt with and will never deal with again.
