Tommy was supposed to be repairing my vehicle from a auto collision, he kept my car for roughly around 6 months and he was only supposed to repair the fender, the front bumper and the hood. He had my car for 6 months, then when I got it back there was things wrong with my vehicle that wasn't wrong with it when I took it to him. My horn didn't work. My radio didn't work. My heat and air didn't work. Then my brakes went bad the day after I got it back and the brake caliber was messed up as well. He kept putting it off and putting it off for at least 6 months then my car lot had to get their lawyers involved and he had my vehicle up there within the next few days. If you have crack to give him for fixing your car he will get it done quick. That's why all the dope boys take their vehicles to him. Everybody else's vehicles are put on the back burner. And he ducks stuff up on the vehicles. He takes parts off your car and trades it for old parts. He took fuses out of my car and trades my battery for an old one. I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend Tommy to ANYBODY, EVERR!

Have had nothing but excellent service with this place. Very quick, very friendly and reasonably priced! Was incredibly impressed! Had a guy named Tommy work on my car and took care of it nicely! Will be going back again!

My son paid for his towing service because his car stopped running after going through a deep rain puddle. So it stalled out. Well, the guy Tommy said he would take a look at it. The car was in great condition, good engine, ect..Well, he started mentioning all of these (new) problems that caused the car not to start. Of course we, and our family and friends said he's looking to profit off my son's car by coming up with different excuses!! My son told him not to work on his car and that he will pay him for the towing and the time he claimed he invested in looking at the car. Other mechanics and his mechanic in Lexington knows his car inside out because he's the one who fixed it before and had all New parts on it. All he needed was new spark plugs and some other part because he has performed work on trucks, cars and subs, especially vehicles that had gone through deep water and fixed them! It has been 3 weeks, after being paid 210.00, Tommy has not brought back my son's vehicle! We do not trust this man as we have read other views about his unprofessional business! He has one more day, If he does not bring it to our home we will contact the local authorities and also KY News to expose his poor business practice! He doesn't realize how many people we have discussed this with legal wise. Beware of this scam artists!! People like him will not prosper due to greed and being untrustworthy!!! His reputation is going to be ruin, believe that!!!

Mr. Purvis did a great job on my car today. Needed a new CV axle, replaced it in about any hour and for a good deal. Couldn't have a better person work on your vehicle.

Wish I didn't have to even rate them with one star to leave a review. To put it simply; untrustworthy, unreliable, dishonest. Recovered and towed our car after it was stolen and REFUSED to return our car to us after we presented him with a COURT ORDER stating to release the car back to us and to forwarded all retribution fees to the Carroll County Kentucky District Court Office. Tommy Purvis does not even have our car at the tow yard and claims to have it at “one of his other properties somewhere in Frankfort.†We have filed a criminal case against him and the Kentucky State Police removed him from their tow list because of this mess. He will extort you for money and God only knows if your vehicle will even be at the tow lot when it's supposed to be. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!

Love Love Love This Guy And His Wife. When I Called Needing My Car Fixed He Did Everything Possible To Make Sure I Wouldnt Go Broke Trying To Fix It. Very Reasonable And Fixed My Car The Same Day . I Didn't Have To Wait Long. Definitely Recommend!!!!!

Tommy Purvis is a grade A a*shole. Took this "mechanic" 6 days to fix a leak in my girlfriend's coolant pipe. He changed the pickup time for the car on us 3 times; the day of, after the pickup time, and an hour before. On the second decided pickup time he decided not to even show up to work that day without giving us any notice, and his phone was off so we couldn't contact him. He also changed the quoted towing price from $55 to $115 after he towed her car. He agreed to accept credit card at the beginning but when it came time to pay he demanded cash because he claimed taking a credit card would cost him 20% of the charge. DO NOT use this man's towing or mechanic service. I wish I could give a negative score.
