I can't even begin to explain how amazing these folks are. So patient and understanding through the whole process. They have taken the upmost care of my family over the years and I can't thank them enough.

The staff was extremely nice and patient. Quick response as we were dealing with them from another state. Thank you Lauren Prichard especially.

Ok where do we start..... I chose Harrod Brother's for a prearranged paid in full funeral for my daughter (3 years ago) just incase I leave this world before she does. When I went in to meet with Scott down there we went in the casket room I chose her casket very elegant and simple that was priced I think 1700 we then went in the office to write the wishes I wanted a visitation with a graveside service. No family car because my daughter only has me and 2 sisters along with a niece and nephews. So that wouldn't be necessary. I also said I wasn't sure who the minister would be, and that I didn't need a hairdresser. And really didnt pay much attention to everything because my whole family that has passed has used them. And then I was hit in the face with a brick when my sister passed away this past august and me and my 2 niece's went to make arrangements for her here at Harrod brothers we spoke with Will we walked through the casket room and they chose a casket but had no ideal how they were gonna pay for my sisters funeral so they asked could he work with them on some kind of payment and was told absolutely not that he doesn't take payments. We then asked to have a quote as to how much it would cost. So we left there and went to sunset memorial gardens where I had a grave to put my sister in and was directed to go over to Clark's funeral home next door and maybe David could help us out. We did and boy oh boy glad we did we explained our situation that my sister their mother had found out she had cancer on a Thursday and died 6 days later and we had not planned a funeral or even had the money up front David out of the kindness of his heart agreed to take payments with my nieces but had to go and sign papers to release my sisters body from harrod brothers so they went down to talk to Will Harrod and was told by him that they would have to pay 1400 for him to release her body to Clark's funeral home. Knowing these 2 ladies didn't have a dime to even bury their mother stating she had already been embalmed (nobody gave him or anyone else permisson to do so) but agreed to match Clark's funeral home arrangements and even take payments mind you after he had already told them that he would not take any payments but would have to be paid in full to have her funeral. We were also told that we had a time frame as to what time we could enter the cemetery and aeven a minute after that Lana and Sunset gardens would charge double time if we were not in the gates before 2pm (come to find out that was a lie )It's so heartbreaking how someone can take advantage of a family that is going through such a hard time in their life but to add stress to them that they have to borrow and sell everything they have to make sure their mother had a funeral . smh now back to my story ...... so after my sister was at rest I got home looked at my papers for my daughters funeral package and was stunned by what I was looking at. So I contacted Clark's funeral home and asked could I bring my paperwork for David to look over and compare some prices unbelievable I was charged double for the casket that I had chosen (3495) and the exact same casket by stock number is now to date only (1995) so 1700 3 yrs ago. I had been charged 450 for a family car in which I had stated I did not need. I was charged (100) for a minister fee ( and talking to the minister that spoke at my mothers and my sisters funeral stated he has never received a dime from harrod brothers for any services. I was charged for a hairdresser that I did not need or want and the visit and graveside service I was charged for a traditional funeral for (5495) I am so disappointed in this place and so glad my eyes have been opened wide as to how crooked this place is. I intend on going to the board wlex news and social media as to how this place doubles and triples prices not to mention charge for services and never paid to the ministers so I hope that whoever reads this and needs a reasonable and honest please go to Clark's funeral home

Over the years our family always thought highly of Harrod Bros Funeral Home, and our recent experience was no exception. Everything down to the last detail was PERFECT for my mom's visitation and funeral. Everyone was so caring & respectful. They never hovered over us but somehow they were always there whenever we needed something. I cannot say enough about how well we were treated. Thank you, Will, and the entire staff for helping us get thru a sad & difficult time.

I can't express my gratitude enough for Will & the funeral home family. The compassion and care provided to me & my family during the loss of my son is indescribable. You always expect emergency staff to be on call 24hrs/day but never the funeral home staff.. but Harrod Brother's was. After hour calls were always returned for non emergencies. Information & guidance provided honestly, but the care of my son.. remarkable. Even a few months later.. they are just a phone call away. So thank you all for welcoming us into your family although in unfortunate circumstances. I truly could not do your job! So bless you for being able to & being the way you are!
